Summer Moon Coffee (Mobile Moon)

if you have to ask why one hate them just ask around

I go to summer moon every morning and order the frozen chai and it is one of my favorite coffee drinks of all time. I order it with three shots of Expresso so it’s a pricey drink but well worth it! This morning I decided to do the matcha frozen which I had done before and it was explained to me in previous visit I just had to ask and pay extra. This time I received the drink and it was nothing like the way i ordered it the first time. It was clear that I was disappointed in my drink and the response was that they can’t make the drink frozen. I was also charged extra to pay for frozen but it was not made the way he said it would be. No offer was made to remake me a drink or offer me something else. I decided to order another drink and when at the counter another associate offered to remake my drink, the cashier shut her down and I spent another 12 dollars for a frozen drink that I liked. I threw away the iced match drink and spent double what I intended to spend this morning. I love summer moon and I love that location the people in the morning are so kind so it was strange to have that experience that was completely out of line with the experience I usually have there. Maybe the person was new, having an off morning or was unaware of expected norms at a coffee shop. I am posting this review in the hopes that as a regular and loyal customers the matcha drink can be replaced with one that I can enjoy another day and can continue to remain a regular customer of summer moon.

The coffee and strawberry danish were amazing. I would highly recommend this place. The coffee was one of the best I’ve had in a while and they were super helpful when ordering.

Atmosphere was fine it was just really freaking hot and not a lot of places to hide in the shade but if you go during the evening I'm sure it's perfect. The iced matcha Moon is the best

I like an Ice Latte with 1/3 moon milk. They pre-mix caramel and vanilla into some of their milk. If you get the full moon it's a sugar bomb. 1/3 moon milk means the other 2/3 is just regular milk and I think that's about perfect. The espresso is good on its own with out the sugar if you're a purist.

Good first visit. Friendly staff. Their house milk blend was excellent in my Chai Latte. It has that "just right" thickness and feel in the mouth.
