The space is great with lots of seating. I went around 1:30pm during a weekday and it was very busy. There were not a ton of open tables because there were many people working so I’d plan accordingly if you get there during the lunch rush. I got the Clarksville Crunch Salad and added the rotisserie chicken. Wish there were a star for value. It’s good, but $5 cookie is what I’m used to in Midtown NYC, not Austin. Nice space though, more or less the original design of the previous ‘Foxtrot’ remains intact.
Swedish Hill is where breakfast goes to get a glow-up and make the rest of your meals feel like peasants. Yeah, the line’s long—but it moves fast, and you get to ogle the pastry case like it’s a dessert-themed art gallery. I saw more beautiful salads in there than on Gwyneth Paltrow’s Instagram. The ham-and-cheese croissant? Flaky perfection. The cinnamon bun? Basically a warm hug from a Scandinavian grandma. The Americano was so smooth I’m convinced Juan Valdez himself...
