I really wanted to love this place, and was expecting more for the hype. I think it was probably the time of day and year that I went that was the issue. They were out of most of their selection, and the one pastry tart I did get was unpleasantly soggy at the bottom, and the other bun I got was dry and stale. The service was so efficient and friendly however and I loved how bright and clean and pretty the interior was. I would try again because I’ve heard such great things!
This place rocks. Always what I want, Swedish iced coffee out of this world. And the pastries and bagels smack, I’m ready for the construction to be over and the old location to reopen tho
Swedish Hill is one of my favorite stops in Austin. The Fronks latte is outstanding — creamy, slightly nutty, and not too sweet — and the turkey sandwich is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The space is bright and casual, the service is quick, and the food is consistently excellent. It’s an easy go-to for a quick coffee or a relaxed lunch.
