I visited T Loc’s after reading that Food & Wine Magazine had voted them the best hot dog in Texas. Intrigued by their reputation, I decided to give them a try. I ordered the Sonoran hot dog con todo but didn’t realize the pepper wasn’t included. For a $9 hot dog, I feel like it should be— or at least offered as an option.
As for the taste, it was alright. I liked the bacon-wrapped sausage, but the wiener seemed boiled rather than grilled. Overall, the hot dog was okay—definitely underwhelming, though.

Look this was my first time here and I love it. The crew was awesome and the food was excellent
But they made a small mistake that I will accept as my own I made an order for a Sonoran dog there way Could not have been better (only with there excellent aqua Fresca) of course So I decided it was so good I’d get a burrito for my lunch the next day (there way) I liked it so much I ordered a bean and cheese for breakfast as well ( per there excellent recommendation ) But they forgot my $7 bean and cheese burrito ( it’s my fault because I didn’t check the bag ) That disappointment is the only reason why this gets a 3 star. But I will return

Best tasting burrito in Austin, just wish it was less expensive.
We'd been wanting to try t-locs for a bit, and while we weren't absolutely floored by the hotdogs, their carne asada fries seriously stole the show. This isn't to say that I wouldn't go back and try other items on their menu, I definitely would. We couldn't really taste the bacon in the hot dogs, which was a little disappointing, but maybe it's because of the amount of toppings on the hot dog, I'm not too sure. I would still definitely come back again!

Delicious! We ended up eating here by chance and we’re so glad we did!! We had some amazing food! I had the Cali burrito and it was HUGE and so delicious. My partner had the carne asada tacos and said they were amazing. We also had the papas fritas which were so crispy and the aioli was fantastic. So fresh and garlicky ? Everyone was so nice and we will definitely be back here soon!
