Highly recommend everything on their menu. Authentic Mexican flavors and options, we've gone twice for their tortas, the campechana and pastor were amazing, huge and can feed 2 people of necessary. Reasonable prices as well all around. We also tried their breakfast tacos, they are the best I've had in Austin so far and I moved from san antonio. I highly recommend el patron and the boss. To avoid wait, they have a number for pre ordering. Can't wait to go back!
Update: Their tortas campechana and birria tacos are so good, hope to keep coming back!

Came here to grab lunch before hitting the road back to Dallas. It’s a quaint food stall with a small seated area for customers to enjoy their food. Being that it was an extremely hot day, we ordered our food to go and ate in the car. They have various food items to choose from along with freshly made juices.
I ordered the four chicken flautas with no cotija cheese but they ended up adding no cheese at all (it came with a melted cheese as well). This made for a dry meal that I didn’t eat in its entirety. I can say the salsas were good and my coworker did enjoy the tacos he ordered.

Delicious! Their tacos are delicious, the green salsa with the breakfast tacos is perfection. I’d also highly recommend their pineapple, cucumber and chia seed Agua Fresca. It’s refreshing on its own but also the perfect mixer with your favorite gin. It’s my new favorite summer drink.

Check your To-go order before you leave. I ordered two tortas and one quesadilla which were of a different kind of meat that I ordered plus was very salty. I spoke with them about it, all they said was that they will report it back to the chef. ?
We have been eating at this place since it was Juicy Fruits located at the car wash off William Cannon. It had been sometime that we hadn’t made it out to eat here but with this last experience, we won’t be coming back. It was so bad that my husband spit out his food. The quality is out the door and his tacos not only had a very off-putting sweet taste but the tacos were so skimpy. Even our agua fresca was bad as if they had the agua in the freezer sitting for a long time. They may have switched owners because she wasn’t there anymore as she usually was. Would give a 0/5 stars.

The staff was friendly. The egg with bacon and cheese were the best. The breakfast potatoes lack flavor. But the worst offense was the hair in the food. Please invest in hair nets (also for beards)
