I have been going here for over 20 years and love the food. Yes, there are days it is hit and miss but that is every restaurant. What is not hit and miss are the egg rolls. Those are my favorite.

Taiwan Restaurant was awesome it was our first time but unfortunately they informed us that after 35 years they were closing the doors due to covid. So sad hopefully they reopen some day

Used Favor to have food delivered tonight with free delivery. Haven’t eaten there in years but will certainly get food from them many more times in the future. We love Egg Fu Young but usually very disappointed when it is delivered because the sauce makes it soggy. This place is sooo smart. The sauce was delivered in a separate container. It was so yummy. The shrimp fried rice was cooked perfectly. Nothing we ordered was greasy or too salty. Yummy!

Reading all the nasty reviews of this place and honestly none of it is about how the food is people are complaining about service. Look I've been going to Taiwan for about 20 years. Their food is PHENOMENAL! It is authentic delicious homemade Chinese food every time.

I called Taiwan resturant for lunch, she answered the phone. I asked her to see if she have lunch special she said don’t know I’m busy. Look online I said website isn’t working.. look on ubereat menu. She hung up on me. Rude!!!! ??‍♀️??‍♀️Since the manager was worried about losing her place. I tried to support her to keep it so I can order foods there since I still live in south for my life. So I endee is order foods at first wok. They are my 1st spot I usually order foods.

Same great food for the last 25-30 years! Yummy, yummy.

I liked that I could call my order and simply pick up/pay on on the way home. Masks were used. Good food and friendly staff.

This Family Owned Restaurant has been around since 1985 when I used to walk to school at Bedicheck Junior School just across the street. Since the Corona hit we've been ordering "To-Go" on a weekly basis and they haven't miss a beat! Wait times are a little longer as they cook "Per Order". The food is ALWAYS noticeably fresh and delicious! If you're looking for GREAT Chinese food in South Austin, this is DEFINITELY the place to go!!!

This is the best Chinese food in Austin. I drive from San Antonio to Austin to visit my sister often and we always make sure we eat here! Went for Father's Day and had the shrimp fried rice and it was amazing! The dumplings are the incredible. The owner and the entire staff are so friendly. This is definitely a family favorite. It's not a big chain, its a family run restaurant that just keeps turning out great food. You can eat like a King here!

We were doing the help local at this time of lockdown and 2020 and we feel it didn't go as what we wanted the lady on the phone was rude and their prices are alittle bit much for the small portions you get.I ordered wonton soup and I got a big Chuck of dough and water. We went through favor and they messed the whole thing up so we had to come to your restaurant and still got attitude...y'all didn't even have compassion in your food and the taste explains the love you have for your customers as well and we spent well too.

Very quick service, super sweet and friendly owner and amazing food! Got the vermicelli and the pork was seasoned perfectly! Will definitely be back.

Ordered for delivery. I ordered 2 things and only received 1! Seriously, how hard is it to put together a delivery order for 2 things. And the one thing I got was a super tiny portion. Not worth a $22 order. Will not order from here again either through delivery or dine in.

I honestly dont know how this place stays open. I am a driver for a delivery service and everytime I go in there isnt a single person there. Neither customer or employee. The same very rude lady always comes out after I stand there for about 10 minutes and tells me my order just came in and it will be a few more minutes. If someones else comes in to pick up their order she is very rude to them. Never had their food, but from what I can see I wouldnt give a dollar to them.

I love this place. The food is good and the atmosphere is very friendly. If you’re dining in they never let your drink sit empty.
