I label this as “Austin’s last local spots” not overly trendy or done up with fair prices and good food. Super typical Asian place with big menu and not overly bothersome waitstaff.Food comes out quick, huge portions, good prices. Solid and delicious food every time I come here. This isn’t a trendy aesthetic spot, it’s a clearly well loved local spot. I’ll continue coming here for this amazing pho.

Someone else posted earlier the dine-in hours. Was excited to try but couldn’t do takeout so wasn’t able to place an order. Just leaving a review to hopefully help someone else avoid driving here for nothing.

Stopped in here for the first time for lunch and was very happy I did! The pho was delicious, the portions were huge, and the price was extremely reasonable! A little tucked in spot with a cute atmosphere, the gentleman that served me was very friendly and speedy. Highly recommend this little local hidden gem!

Tan My holds a special place in my heart, as it's been our go-to Vietnamese restaurant since my husband and I were teenagers. Every visit feels like a journey back in time, filled with nostalgia and fantastic flavors.I always opt for the Number 58 – the Soft Egg Noodles dish – and it never disappoints. The combination of tender beef, succulent chicken, plump shrimp, and crisp broccoli atop a bed of perfectly cooked noodles is a culinary masterpiece. Each bite is a symphony of textures and tastes that leave me craving more.Meanwhile, my husband remains loyal to his favorite, the Number 22. I've lost count of how many times he's savored its flavors, and it's no wonder why. The depth of flavors in his dish always leaves him satisfied and eager for the next visit. The drive from Hutto is always worth it for the delightful experience Tan My offers. From the warm ambiance to the friendly staff and, of course, the delectable dishes, Tan My continues to exceed our expectations. It's not just a restaurant; it's a tradition, a place where memories are made and cravings are satisfied. If you're in the area, don't miss the opportunity to indulge in the culinary delights of Tan My – you won't regret it.

Nut allergy friendly!Review is for take-out. I ordered the pho tai nam and bun bo hue, both with extra noodles. We did not need the extra noodles at all - the portions were incredibly generous and perfectly filled my large pho bowls at home! They give plenty of beansprouts and vegetables too.Overall, maybe the best pho and bun bo hue I've had in Austin at this price point. Definitely top three. Flavorful broth, generous portions, and tender meat all contribute to a fantastic dish, even to go.Will definitely be back.

Be aware! We are totally disappointed in their inconsistent of dine-in service. We came here twice, and both time being told that dine-in was not available. First time we came at 7pm on Sat and being told that dine-in is not open. Fine, we happily did take out. Second time, we came at 5:45 on Monday, being told the dine-in stops at 3pm, so we had to do take out again. It's annoying, inconsiderated and unprofessional. The food is ok, comparing to Dallas or Houston, but considered as above average comparing to other Viet places in Austin. Hopefully they take these feedback seriously and make some change. We have had enough so we won't come back.

Been here many times and this time we ordered 2 pho tai and 1 other pho with rare round eye steak and brisket. The broth was great, brisket was tender and delicious. I just hope they could slice their round eye steak a little thinner so it doesn't turn chewy. Other than that, parking is a real problem, it took me 10 minutes to find a spot.Great restaurant as always. Highly recommend.

I had a very happy meal. The atmosphere, taste, and food I felt for the first time in a long time. I recommend it for the old school feel of Austin.
