Great chain grocery store, we visit every time we come to Austin, fantastic range of fresh and dry products. Could spend hours here on a hot day just wandering around checking out the displays. Whole Foods has become a pleasant “blanket” for foodies who sometimes like to cook during holidays. This was one in Austin TX, landlocked city, had remarkable sushi kiosk; their sashimi was particularly lovely. Putting the wasabi and pickled ginger under veggies was a novelty, they get the drippings from the pray of light soy sauce on the fish. It was sheer delight. ..The salmon burgers, which apparently were store made, were very well balanced with salty feta and coarse pepper....
Being right down the street from my house, I typically visit the Domain Whole Foods Sunday mornings for my weekly shopping. It's a large store, with plenty of pleasant indoor and outdoor seating. There's a crab shack like bar in the middle of the place, which has a ton of beers on tap, oysters and tasty Garbo's lobster rolls.
