The mystery meat was very questionable! Hard flour tortillas, mystery sausage, pancake was a hockey puck, eggs were COLD and uniquely seasoned!

This place is terrible…I’ll never eat here again I ordered a chicharron and egg taco and they literally put 2 small pieces of chicharron and what looked like half an egg in the taco before opening my rolled up foil I thought maybe they made a mistake and only gave me a foil pack of tortillas becuase it was so thin and when I brought my tacos back they told me that it was their standard and nothing was wrong…don’t waste your money on this establishment they make mediocre food and expect folks to be ok with it.

Dined here on slow Sunday afternoon. Requested the burrito Guadalajara plate, which is burrito beans salad etc, standard plate. Asked about choice of meat, and waitress turned menu over and silently pointed out choices. Unfriendly, fine. I get my food. It’s a single dry burrito on a plate with no sides, nothing. Is this a joke? I ate it anyway. The waitress disappeared and never checked on me, so didn’t correct it. I closed up front and the sullen hostess asked which burrito I ordered, since the disappearing waitress didn’t leave a receipt. The only good thing about this place was the burrito was $10. The service here is terrible; the staff inattentive and rude. I won’t be back.

The breaded shrimp is actually coconut shrimp. So odd. Usually sold with tortillas and salsa but this time I got bread & valentina like sauce. Overall, not a good experience. This order was made via doordash.

Door dashed so I can’t comment on the restaurant, but the food isn’t worth the money. Pretty bland stuff.

My burrito was chicken, a tortilla, and some fake queso. That was it. My wife’s guacamole was unseasoned chunks of avocado, some tomato and onion.

Save yourself the trouble. I’m not convinced they’re even trying to make good food here.

If you haven’t been to Taqueria Arandas yet… you’re missing out BIG TIME.

First time here and WOW. The staff was so friendly and walked me through the menu like I was family. My friend Raul (this is his go-to spot) told me I had to try it, and he did NOT lie.

I ordered the taco lengua and carne asada with nopales on the side — every bite was fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. Raul got the chicken mole and enchiladas, and they looked so good I almost stole one off his plate (that’s my order next time).

We also got a pineapple drink and mixed it with Topo Chico — it was so refreshing while it was 97 degrees outside
The guacamole? Fresh, creamy, and absolutely addictive.

Prices are so reasonable it feels like a steal for the quality.

Back when I was younger I would come here and really enjoy it. This was my first time back in over 11 years. I came in and was the first table to be seated but somehow the last to be served. The younger waitress was nice. Not sure how we were the only people in there and the first to order but the last to get our food. Two other tables came in after us and got served right away. I won't be coming back but it was nice checking out for remembering some nice childhood memories eating here.

They burned the food, oversalted the salsa, skipped the avocado on both dishes, and rewarded themselves with a 30% tip. Sent the food back and they remade it with half the ingredients and burned it again. We've been customers for 25 years. The place has always been a dive, but up until today the staff has always been honest and the food was always good.

This place always hits the spot. I love that they've stayed reasonable on price and sustain their quality. Their staff are always so friendly and professional. A true Mexican restaurant.
