Ive been a customer at Chapalas for over 25 yrs. Actually at one time in my life i resided less than a couple blocks away.The food is great! The prices are very affordable. You dont have to spend alot to get a great meal at Chapalas.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant on the east side. You can't go wrong with the breakfast plate, the enchiladas, or the tacos. Their salsa is phenomenal, but I love the green sauce or the tomatilla. The staff is very friendly and quick. If you want to sit down and enjoy Mexican food, go here.

Smelled amazing from outside so went in for lunch. Ordered 2 barbacoa adonbado or however it's spelled and was disappointed. It looked from the reviews crisp tortillas almost like a quesadilla except it arrived a soggy mess! So many leftover leaves that simmered with the meat in it. Ate one and left the other. Tried my husband's fajita quesadilla and it had ZERO flavor besides the grease it sat in plus bare min cheese. My water had 2 cubes of ice lol and the lady was filling up the cleaning bucket with the same spout they fill up people's cups of water. Definitely won't be back!

Great Mexican food! I highly recommend coming here, we went for breakfast and the huevos rancheros were so good! The ladies working were so nice and there was a mariachi band! Also get the horchata!

The food is good and service but, the cashier always charge more money than I ate I don't know her name but she looks like boos cause when someone is trying to pay the bill she run to the register and she charge exaggerates prices for 2 plates only I hope the owner see the post cause they need to watch her
