we ate at the burnet location, which was once aranda's. not sure how the same enchilada plate is 12.99 now. it's not worth that. the food was ok, but not great, and got charged 3.99 for a side of jack cheese for my kids bean taco..we got charge $2.50 for a couple corn tortillas. what in the actual f's. cost us 60$ to eat where we paid $35 last time we were there. we are not going back. ever. the exterior remodel did bot justify the cost. at. all.

Very mid. I knew just by looking at the decor what the food would taste like lol. Service wasn't good either. The waitress skipped over me multiple times to attend other guests with larger groups. I won't return.

The food is good and the prices are good. Good old fashioned restaurant where you sit down and they serve you with a smile. One of my favorite places in the area. Always walk out feeling good and satisfied. I must go back again soon. Delicious.

Seriously, they should change staff, they serve without enthusiasm and with the look of not wanting to be there, I think they have the wrong job, the food is sometimes good, sometimes it has a lot of taste of oil used for a long time, and sometimes it has excess fat, not all of them. They serve poorly, the short man at the cashier is always very friendly and cordial and the lady at the counter is also friendly and always in a good mood.

It has been a long time since we had a good seafood type soup and here we found a delicious one. The molcajete is very delicious ? and it is big.I recommend it because the two times I have gone, the service has been good and the food delicious. I had the beef enchiladas with red sauce, rice and beans part of the lunch special. The rice and beans were standard, not bad, not great, and no real complaints. The enchiladas though tasted a little 'flat' as far as the beef inside goes. The red sauce was good though but I felt like the beef could have had more flavor. Also was surprised to see peas and corn on the inside of the enchilada mixed in with the beef. That's a new one for me. The tortilla chips and the salsa were very welcome and the salsa was excellent. I do like the selection of $9.99 lunch specials, always love to see a restaurant offer lunch choices.

The truth is, I don't recommend it. Today my husband and my two children went to eat and I ordered a tampiqueña. We said goodbye to a fried mojarra, a shrimp cocktail and a breaded fish fillet, and he sent Mila, who is so small, to the hospital. Right now I'm in the hospital hospitalized because It gave me vomiting and diarrhea and bone pain. The truth is, I don't recommend it at all. Everything is very good, the service and the place is nice, but the food itself I don't recommend because it sent me to the hospital.
