A great atmosphere and food for a great price! Service is quick, which is perfect for attendees of festivals and conferences nearby who are looking for a quick yet great meal. 10/10 will go again if I'm in the area.

LOVE Los Altos. I don’t know how anyone gives them less than 5. I will be coming often. Service was good, food is GREAT, new place is nice upgrade. PLEASE GO AND SPREAD THE WORD about their new location near Galaxy Theater.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access but the parking lot should have more designated spots.

The asada tacos are a flavorful, hearty, great value at this corner Mexican restaurant just off I-35 and a few doors down from a movie theater.
It shares a large parking lot with the movie theater and adjacent businesses in the same strip.

Fairly decent. Feels pretty deserted after certain hours. Tables are way too high. Echoey room.

100% recommended
The food is very delicious!
I have ordered different foods from their menu: tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, etc. and we have always been satisfied with the seasoning.
They are very friendly and quick to attend to your order.

Parking: The parking lot is very large, so rest assured that you will easily find an available parking spot.

Just dined in their new location after they were displaced by the i35 expansion. Same great good, service and people, and now in a bigger beautiful location with a full bar and stage for music. The migas were as delicious as ever, great salsa, an Austin treasure!

If they could give 0 stars, I would say terrible service, I went to buy enchiladas and they gave me old rice, I think it was from previous days, they really go too far.

My family has been eating at the old location for 20 years, but I’m happy to say the food is even better at the new location. My go-to recommendation is their Gordita with nopales for vegetarian or with carne asada otherwise. Recently I had the Carne Asada Plate and it was the best Mexican meal I’ve had in a while. Awesome option for a fajita-style plate. They now serve margaritas, etc, so even a better reason to check it out. Good Tex-Mex isn’t as common as it used to be but Los Altos has it covered. Great neighborhood restaurant and the Highland area is lucky to have it. It’s already missed by Cherrywood residents.
