The food was good, the rice and beans were good, enchiladas were good. We tried both chicken and beef and had no complaints with the food. However, we almost walked out when we came in, because the place is absolutely filthy. I don't mind ripped seats or anything, but every surface just seemed covered in grime. This place really needs a deep clean. If I had ordered take out, I likely would have left 5 stars, but seeing the inside was definitely a bit disquieting.

I live north Austin and read reviews to try birria tacos so decided to make the trip.. no delivery available. Did the drive thru service which was ok. I spent $61 and tip 22% cash. The server said everything was in the 2 bags. I didn't think I would have to check since they had more the enough time to get order right. I even went inside to confirm items. Drive thru was about 15-20 mins. I get home to the smallest container of consume for my 2 orders of birria tacos and I guess it was too hot because the queso i ordered went thru the lid and spilled all over the bag. Also missing order of nachos I went into restaurant to confirm she had it in the order. I dont review often but this experience has me upset. Hangry af.

Cute little place, that stands alone as the only Mexican restaurant in an otherwise all Asian retail/food plaza. I have eaten here a dozen times, usually at lunch/dinner time. It’s typically 50% filled or less. Most of the staff are bilingual and all are very kind. Karaoke is always a fun time and watching the Spanish soap operas on tv. They have the best mole I’ve ever had, and all the food I’ve tried is very filling and worth the price.

Went here the other day. The food was decent. However, when I tipped them cash they wrote in a $22 tip on my card. Very disappointed in what used to be a local favorite from childhood.

Everything is amazing! From the Birria to the Menudo its all amazing, and to top it all, their hand-made tortillas are the best touch!

This is our go to for authentic Mexican food. I often order the Chili Relleno and my husband orders Chicken Enchiladas. Delicious food, gracious service. We always have the Pork Tamales to go. We will always return.

While I’ve had better Mexican food elsewhere imho, I felt that this place was pretty charming with friendly service and a fun karaoke scene. The DJ kept the decibels to a manageable level. It probably helped that there weren’t many diners, so the overall noise level was pretty low. Careful with the chicken enchiladas because they may have crushed bones in it (as stated in the menu) which we did find in our food.

Love the food! I didn’t expect to be full when I saw my plates. The service was so-so probably because I can’t understand what they were saying (they talk in Spanish and fast?)I don’t really mind but like I didn’t even finish looking up the whole menu and she asked me what to order (in a pushy way)I panicked order but the food was great so..?‍♂️?

It probably is the best Mexican anywhere near here. Enchiladas, Rice, Beans, Salsa. Avaacodo, Lettuce, Tomato. Perfection on my plate. I'll be back!!!

Perhaps the best tacos de bistec I’ve ever had. Chorizo was also very good; barbacoa was good, but not the best! Will definitely be back. Delicious horchata as well.

Honestly, these folks are amazing. Cheap and plenty for what you pay for, and a decent menu as well! (Hispanic offerings with some basic American fare like burgers, fries and omelettes.)They do have a drivethrough, but it isn't their main focus so expect a small wait if you go that route. The parking lot is almost never full that I have personally seen- it's almost hidden past the Asian market right next to it. Highly reccomend as it's become an occassional quick stop for my fianceé and myself!

Authentic, delicious, inexpensive. Great lunch stop. Nothing fancy just good food and a fair price. I love this place.
