I love this place. It’s been here since the beginning of time so of course the food is great, the plates look awesome, but best of all: I feel comfortable here. They are warm and welcoming to all diners, and if you live nearby and you’re dining for one (or more, I’d bring friends and family here for sure), grab yourself a nice window table and enjoy! Can’t believe I’ve been ignoring this place for so long just because it doesn’t look all slick and modern—it’s great...
Genuinely the best Mexican food in Austin. Prices are really good and not overpriced like many boujee restaurants here in Austin. Food portions and quality are great! They have a bar with many different selections of drinks, close to downtown Austin so it’s a nice place to pregame before 6th street.
