Went yesterday. 11/30/25
I had the Mexican style burger, and I have to say that it was absolutely amazing.
This is the BEST Mexican style burger that I have had in a WHILE!
Do not take that lightly, as I had burgers in Zacatecas and CDMX earlier this year.
This was by far the best!
Staff was great and allowed us to have our pets at the patio outside, and even brought us a water bowl.
Overall great experience!

I recently dined at Taquero Mucho on West Ave in Austin, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our server, Luis, provided truly outstanding service. He was attentive, professional, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Luis’s warm demeanor and genuine care elevated our entire dining experience. It’s rare to receive service that feels both thoughtful and seamless, and his efforts did not go unnoticed. The food was wonderful, but the hospitality made our visit truly memorable. My family and I will be returning soon!

Great spot for cocktails. It is very picturesque with several great spots for photos. It has a pink theme throughout. The outdoor patio is spacious. The drinks are delicious and the service is nice. I’d recommend the Mango Mezcal Margarita and the Aperol Margarita.

It is so sad when you walk into a restaurant with so much potential. I am sitting next to a massive mess. I wonder if 15 toddlers were just here. But the bothersome thing about it is there are just employees standing around. Geez. I would never hire these people. They are completely stagnant. No one here is remotely interested in doing their job. Good margaritas but other than that useless. Spend your money elsewhere. There are way better mexican restaurants nearby.

A significantly better version of its Domain counterpart, Taquero Mucho’s downtown location is a bit smaller but has upgrades across the board. The staff was very attentive, the food was great, and the drinks/vibe were very fun. This is right off of 6th so parking can be iffy but they do have a parking lot attached so if it’s not full then you’re in luck.

When we arrived we were seated quickly and the staff let us move things around to fit our party of 5 since most tables only fit 4 and they can get crowded. We ordered the guava cosmo rita and malibu barbie for drinks and both were good, fruity and sweet. For food we ordered a plain cheese quesadilla and the chipotle enchiladas. Both were good with the quesadilla being pretty filling and soft and the enchiladas being packed with flavor (plus they come with rice and beans on the side).

Our server was great as well, very attentive and the food and drinks came out quickly. This location was a step up from our last experience at The Domain one and we can see ourselves returning here for a good meal and drinks to kick off a night of fun on West 6th.

This was fun! I liked the atmosphere (it was a bit loud with the music for talking at brunch but it was definitely a vibe). And the food was great! We didn’t order any drinks but the table next to us did and they looked great!

Place was filthy. You can tell a lot by how clean a restaurant is. We sat down. Waited forever. While waiting for a drink noticed the tables had never been bused and went to the ladies room. They were filthy. Sat back down. Friend went to ladies room came back and looked at me. No waters yet. We both left

I had an absolutely horrible experience dining here. I ordered sopes and they overcharge me. The menu price both online and in the restaurant was $12, but I was charged $14. I talked to the manager and they refused to change the price. I have never experience such horrible customer service. I will never be going again. Do not trust the menu prices.

We were drawn in by the buzz around their pink tacos! But the vibrant atmosphere was the star of the show—absolutely perfect. The tacos and sopas were delicious, but we were let down by the choriqueso. Unfortunately, the cheese congealed into a solid mass far too quickly, which was a disappointment. But we’d come back for the main entree!

it's a super cute place, and the pink tortillas brought me delight. but my tacos were extremely oily and lacking salt, so I unfortunately didn't enjoy my food as much.

Fast service! My friends and I came to try the birria tacos and I had the birria ramen. They liked the tacos and I loved the ramen! It was delicious and came with nice buttery pan. The orange juice could be better. The bathrooms were clean and I loved the decor! Especially the bathroom picture 😂

Note: parking was super expensive when we came on ACL weekend. It was $20 for an HOUR. That’s so greedy. I don’t think that’s the restaurant fault though.
