Great service, great tasting food, and great experience! My only complaint is that the tortillas need to be a but stronger, or they need to add 2 tortillas because they weren't holding up. Other than that, everything was delicious.
Great atmosphere, Great service, Great vibes
Service was excellent ! DJ in the house was on fire 🔥🔥 had their Michelada, shrimp ceviche for appetizers. Quesa birria & chilaquiles for main entree. Everything we got was delicious!!!!
The staff was very nice and answered all my questions. When I ordered food to go at the bar and told the bartender I’d be waiting outside and I’d come back in to grab it in 10 minutes when the food was ready he actually brought it out to me instead! Very kind and inviting at mother perfect for a hangout with friends or to just vibe alone!
Oh, Taquero Mucho, you vibrant enigma! Stepping inside is like being swallowed by a merengue cake in the best possible way. The pink, pink, and more pink color scheme is truly a sight to behold, and honestly, you’ll be amazed you’re not suddenly craving a quinceañera.
Now, onto the grub. The food here is decent and varied, though let’s be real, this ain't your abuela's authentic Mexican cocina. It leans heavily into the Tex-Mex realm, and for what it is, it’s actually pretty darn good. But where Taquero Mucho really shines is with its liquid offerings. Their genius idea to bring in a DJ on Fridays makes perfect sense, because their vast array of unique drinks will make you feel like a wide-eyed ten-year-old taking their very first, exhilarating sip of something forbidden. It’s pure, unadulterated fun.
Service is generally good, though the place could definitely use a little more attention in the cleanliness department. If you're on the hunt for a relaxed spot to grab a drink in Austin and soak in some seriously impressive pink aesthetics, Taquero Mucho is a solid choice. Just don’t go in expecting a culinary revelation – keep your hopes for the food at a reasonable level, and you’ll have a great time.
BAD SERVICE THEY ALL SUCKED THEY DIDNT BRING ME OUT THE FOOD I ASKED FOR!! YASMIN IS BAD MANAGER
Bad costumer service, waiter was giving attitude about everything and manager was rude about everything
Super cute diner vibe! All the pink things 💕 Food was delish, got us seated quickly. Several cute photo spots!
Very contemporary Hispanic teenagers playhouse/restaurant. Without any music playing, you might think you're in a Japanese dessert bar. Nevertheless, it is a Taco Bar, and upscale. A vibrant restaurant with a mix of people. You may come casual or costumed up. A delicious Sunday Brunch with volume.
It was incredible! Cheerful colors and amazing delicious food! Plus the service was excellent!

Very aesthetically pleasing and a perfect place for a girls hangout or date.. The server kind of forgot about us for 45 minutes but we had champagne to keep up busy.

Got seated and nobody came by for 20 min so we left. It's sad because we really really liked the place when we visited Austin a couple years ago...
