An amazing neighborhood restaurant that we tried on a whim. We are so glad we did! What a charming spot. From the warm welcome when we arrived to the bartending team and wait staff. And the food! The food. So delicious. So good we booked lunch for the next day!
Excellent dining experience. Service was superb. Food was excellent. Great beet salad and outstanding branzino.
Open table took reservations, confirmed reservation and reminded us of reservation. We got there and restaurant is shuttered - tables piled up, ladders and other construction stuff all over the place, lights out and doors locked. Not a one night unexpected closure- restaurant is out of business. OpenTable, you did us wrong. And what do you know, OpenTable still is taking reservations but google shows it permanently closed.
Celebrating an anniversary, we were seated around the corner in the bar area, which was quieter than the main dining room. The only downside to that room was the huge TV projection on the wall, but at least the volume was down. Service was great, food was delicious, everyone was so kind.
I'm in Austin weekly for business and typically eating solo. I was hoping for a seat at the bar but the host insisted I sit at a bar table, not a big deal however I was mostly ignored. They didn't clear the extra place setting. I sat there with no acknowledgment then the host finally came over and at least took my drink order. I had to flag someone down for a glass of water and again to order an entree. When I wanted another drink I had to go to the bar to ask and then to the bar again when I wanted my check. Not one person checked in to see how my food was or if I needed anything else.
The eggplant parmigiana was inedible. It was mushy with the consistency of bread and cheese, little sauce and unidentifiable eggplant. Thankfully I ordered a side of meatballs that I ate with the side of spaghetti that came with the eggplant. The restaurant is loud as there is little to absorb the sound. Salad came out with in seconds of the appetizer we ordered, so timing could be better. Caesar salad was very avg. I do not plan on returning. There are much better Italian restaurants in Austin.
Reunited with friends our waiter was Mateo. He was awesome. Great food, great service and atmosphere. I will be back.
we got the mussels as an app and it was fantastic, highly recommend!! i would rate this restaurant higher if their service was better... our server was terrible. expect average/below average staff. would recommend for a quick bite but not a date night
Our waiter was amazing - great recs and attentiveness. Food was delicious and drinks delicious. Great drinks
Italian experience through and through. Great New Year's Eve dinner. Service was impeccable.

Party of 4 - the chefs focaccia was ok - tasted like a large cheezit cracker. The seafood risotto special was well liked. Prime rib special was very underwhelming - meat was cooked properly but was tough as it could be. For the money, better everything can be found within walking distance. Waitress was lovely and warm and the highlight of the experience.
Remarkable menu and that pasta was about as good as you could get . . . anywhere. When they say ‘all pasta is made in-house” that are not lying and the same goes for the barrata. Just remarkable. Great wine selection and the service was top-notch with the wonderful Jackie keeping many balls in the air juggling a busy night. Best eating experience during our stay in Austin by far.
We had the Frittura Mista Di Mare calamari shrimp vegetables with a spicy tomato sauce and a tartar Salsa along with the Chicken Caesar salad, Funghi e tartufo wild mushroom and black truffle pizza. They were all really tasty and there was nothing left!

I love this place for brunch, and took my daughter for her 11th birthday. Mateo was such a gem. Really sweet and made her feel special on her big day.
This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Austin. The food is always amazing and HOT when served. Service if fabulous.
