DO NOT hit snooze on this murder-dungeon-turned-coffeehouse! TERRIBLE LOVE is so exceptional, I literally will wake up early, battle I35 traffic and at least seven school zones on the daily to get my Cappuccino fix. Grab a freshly-baked nom while you wait in the landscaped courtyard! Added bonuses: the baristas always remember my name, and the Owner, Brian, could not be a sunnier guy - ready with a welcoming smile and an easy laugh!

This is the best coffee in town. I will die on this hill…. Many come close but this is consistently incredible coffee every single day. It’s also in the very cute neighborhood Hyde Park!

Killer flat white, nice little outside cafe space.

For people that like their coffee sweetened the Terrible Latte is a fun specialty drink.

A really must try coffee in Austin. I did not order their signature grapefruit brown sugar latte but instead Trrbl latte and it was really good! Go there when the suns out and enjoy the coffee while sitting there!

Glad I finally checked out Terrible Love. Fantastic tasting coffee and great service. I just wish they had mug options for their outdoor seating guests.

What a hidden gem! Go good I was tempted not to review in order to keep it hidden 😜

Adorable coffee window with an outdoor space to enjoy your coffee and in the case of my visit the accompanying Polish food pop up.

The coffee itself is outstanding - house made banana syrup was incredible. It tastes like banana bread! Add some house made chocolate syrup and you’ve got a chocolate chip banana bread latte.

Can’t wait to go back!

Their coffee is DELICIOUS and their baristas are so kind, knowledgeable, and talented! Definitely go visit them— I’d come every morning if I lived in the area. The oat milk cappuccino was divine, so creamy and balanced!

This is such an off the beaten path place I passed it the first time and had to turn around. Lol. Cute little brick building next to a former school.

My friend and I got Grapefruit Brown Sugar Lattes based on reviews from other people and they did NOT disappoint! I’d never guess a hint of grapefruit in coffee would be delicious, but OMG it was!!!! <3 I work super close to TL and will definitely be going back! Highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: They have oat and almond milk available for milk substitutes.
