Terry Black's Barbecue

Phenomenal experience, highly recommend the Terry Black's experience where you get a tour of the back of house and smoking process. The entire team was amazingly hospitable, it was a truly fun experience for the entire crew that we brought with us. Food was easily some of the best bbq I have ever had, 5 stars, will go again at the next opportunity.

Did the full experience. Was 110% worth the money, if you're into BBQ (me) or don't care so much (my wife and daughters) it didn't matter, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the behind the scenes and the food and service was excellent. Totally recommend.

The tour with Tyler was wonderful and the food was exceptional. Definitely recommend this while in Austin!!

This experience far exceeded my expectations. I had about 13 people total for a business and networking dinner. Tyler Slocum was our host - he kept the energy high and our guests engaged throughout the pit tour. It's clear he has a passion for his work! He was on top of keeping drinks supplied and answering any questions. It was so amazing not having to wait in line for anything with the experience and being led to reserved tables after our tour. The food spread was also amazing, we got to try every meat and side. it was more than enough for a group of our size and most of our guests left with to go boxes! All the guests had a great time and were eager to do it again! Thank you Terry Black's Experience!

I Was really looking forward to eating here, but unfortunately not everything lived up to the hype . My brisket and sausage were both very dry with very little marbling or fat. Meat was falling apart but was very dry and tasted old. Sausage was also dry and wrinkled. Pork ribs were delicious and macaroni was great.

I got there at 10:45 on a Wednesday and there was almost no wait. Great quality! Spent a small fortune, though, but that's the way it goes these days.

Barbecue Experience-Not worth it. Took 9 people to the BBQ we spent about 20 minutes with the pitmaster Alexx he was awesome. Then we went inside to get our food. The waiter brings over two plates of meat for the nine of us leaves us sitting there disappears for an hour and then when we’re walking out, he comes back over and ask us if we want dessertso we got a 20 minute pit show and paid $1500 for barbecue I could’ve brought for $300 was wasting my money my time and frustrated me. Waiter did not care for us when we are paying 5x price….unbelievable.The food is AWESOME!

Don’t be intimidated by the line, it moves quick! & they sell drinks while you’re in line too. But the #bbq wow, just WOW. The sides too, OMG!

Just moved to Austin and WOW! Terry Blacks bbq did not disappoint. Arrived right when they opened per reviews that they may sell out of things quickly. Full menu available, creamed corn was the best we have ever tasted! Workers were kind and helpful, even let us try some burnt ends, which were delicious. A must when in Austin!

Had to throw most of it a way. Really cold sides and meat. Big fat cap on the beef ribs, alot of the fat not rendered.

LAURA was amazing ! She helped us in line when we had a group of 12 people! Good amazing and comes with a lot ! Definitely worth the prices
