Best Turkey sandwich of my life! The banana pudding, green beans, and especially the rice are packed with flavor. Got good gift bags too. Would recommend for any traveling in Austin to come in for lunch!

WOW! This place was amazing. I got here at 9:40am and I was the 4th person in line. By 10:15 there was over 50 people waiting to get in. I got a little of everything so the price was not cheap. But man am I glad I did. All the meat was outstanding. The Coleslaw was outstanding. The green beans was outstanding. The BBQ beans was outstanding. The Corn was outstanding. If you are in Austin you have to come here. Top three BBQ joints on my all time list. Right up their with slow bones in Dallas and Stanley's in tyler.

As a German visiting Austin a good BBQ place was on the top of my to do list and it was amazing. This was the best brisket I had in my life so far. Spare ribs, sausage and sides were also excellent. The good thing is that here you have never to wait longer than 30minutes. The location is also nice snd authentic.

Recently in town for MotoGP 2024. Ate here 3 of the 4 nights I was in Austin. Absolutely amazing brisket with deep flavor, great texture and the right amount of smoke. The sides were pretty good as well. The first night I had the Mexican rice which tasted as expected and the portion size was good. The second trip I had the Mac and cheese which was creamy, but lighter than expected so it was easy to eat despite the outside temp being in the 80s. The star of the sides show for me is the coleslaw with kale and apple or pear, which I had on each visit; bought a pint on my last visit and ate some at the restaurant with my meal and took the rest home and snacked on later. The staff were very nice and efficient in getting people through the line which stretched outside and into the parking lot every time. The next time I am in Austin, I will be eating here at least once.Parking: Difficult to park with limited spots, but not impossible; waited for a space about 10min the first two times.

Be prepared to wait in line, but at least it moves pretty quickly. Know what you want when you get to the counter to order. The servers are NOT friendly, and they will NOT help you. On a positive note, the brisket, pork ribs, and potato salad are delicious. The mac & cheese was bland, and the beans were just ok.Parking: Tiny free parking lot. Limited number of spaces. Some street parking.

AMAZING brisket. We came to Texaa and tried a couple of BBQ restaurants, and definitely the best one we had.Very quick service despite the amount of people in line. Only thing i didn't like is that I felt kinda rushed to order, and forgot some things i wanted under pressure, but other than that, BEST BBQ.

We were disappointed in the food. We were looking most forward to the brisket, but it was tough and a little difficult to cut. The sides were pretty good. For our take out order they forgot the plates and plastic utensils. We were staying in a hotel so we did not have our own tableware. The hotel gave us some utensils, but we had to use the trays and lids of the food to eat off of. It was eclipse weekend so maybe they were just overwhelmed. They were out of cornbread so they gave us a full loaf of white bread. We were disappointed although we appreciated that effort.

Second time dining here, paid around $120 for pure fat, no more chance for sure.. The same service as Mcdonalds.. priciest fat in the world!

Food was good but prices seemed a bit high. Parking is a bit of a nightmare but once inside the line moves fast.
