Great little hidden gem. I wish I would have realized they were here years ago when I lived in the Crestview neighborhood. I will definitely be back and look forward to trying more of their menu. My partner and I both had migas plates one with sausage and the other chorizo.

Options for kids are awful. The scrambled egg plate has a super tiny portion — a single scrambled egg, and no salt. My 3 year old normally eats 2 eggs. But the toast that came with it was so salty that it was inedible. We couldn't figure out why my daughter was not eating her food until pretty late. We had to go to another restaurant to get food for my daughter.I pointed out the issues with the food and the waitress did not seem to care. They did not offer to replace it and charged me for the inedible food.The menu prices are also misleading. They're cash prices. If you pay by card the prices are higher.Service sucked. Don't come here if you have a kid.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly

Everyone at Tex Mex Joe’s are amazing! Whenever I come in, I am greeted with a warm smile and always feel welcomed. I love stopping in to pick up their watermelon agua fresca which is always made fresh. They truly are the backbone of this community.
