Pleasantly surprised with a great sandwich, tots, and threw in a taco and I'm completely stuffed. I'd say it's text Mex - heavy on the Tex. Which is exactly what I was looking for! We absolutely love Texami! We’ve gotten their chicken and veggie quesadillas multiple times at this point. The flavors are always on point and the quality of every single ingredient is noticeably excellent every single time. The owner is also a super nice guy and you can clearly see how passionately and thoughtfully the food is prepared. One of our fave places for some good takeout. Highly recommend!

This place is worth stopping by for a delicious and filling meal! We tried the quesadilla and the hot chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was prepared quickly and it was fresh! I've order hot chicken sandwiches at other places where it kinda looks like the chicken was prepared a few hours ago. The chicken here was super juicy and crispy. The quesadilla was awesome! The fries were nostalgic. Glad they are so close to my home! Really appreciate what Texami offers to south austin. Thanks!

I’m normally not a quesadilla girl but the guy working there recommended one off the bat and so I gave it a try. So so glad I did. That’s easily the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. High quality ingredients and packed with flavor. Can’t wait to go back

Just tried this truck for the first time and I was not at all disappointed! I got the popular chicken quesadilla and after bringing it home to share with my girlfriend, we both quickly agreed it’s one of the best we’ve had. Also, I got to chat with Peter the co-owner, who was super down to earth and friendly. We’ll definitely be stopping by here regularly!
