Best meat shop ever. High quality meat, and the staff is always super fun. If you go on a day they have hot dogs, they are the best dogs in town!

I had heard wonderful comments from various sources about this place so my friend and I decided to check it out. Wow! What a unique set up! Darin greeted us and from then on he gave us the best service possible. We ordered some beef tenderloins - they were exquisite! Darin is very knowledgeable and can guide you to fit your needs. We tried a Malbec wine from Argentina- absolutely delicious! We will be back

You walk in & immediately feel like family. Love them for staples like ground beef & their fun stuff like duck eggs, broths & even raw chocolate! Can’t help but smile when you see Devin. Amazing customer service!! Looking forward to grilling in the future to enjoy their patio.

If you live in Lakeway/Austin and love steak, run to Texas Beef Traders. This place is a gem—part butcher, part intimate steakhouse, all heart. The owner will grill you a world-class steak from one of their rare breeds (hello, full-blood American Waygu!) and pour you a glass of wine straight from his vineyard or one of his friends’. It’s like dining at a rancher’s private table—unpretentious, unforgettable, and pure Texas hospitality.

This place is exactly what Lakeway has needed! The vibe is genuine, as are the people that work there…and of course, the beef is the best around - hands down! They also have some unbelievable wine!!

First time visiting and had an awesome experience. Walked in and was greeted at the door by Darin. He gave us a great crash course on their sourcing and care for the beef. Offered us samples and truly believe they would have been happy if we hung out all day. 6 out of 5 would recommend.
