Their bread is delicious! We went for breakfast on a Sunday and while they did fumble our order initially they made up for it by giving us a gift card. Tostada and Breakfast sandwich were on point.

I recently learned about their sourdough batards, and I love, love, love them! And they put them on their regular menu! So, I started ordering them and noticed that they were significantly smaller than what I had originally received. I wrote them, and finally after writing them *again,* I received a response letting me know that Commercial customers receive 5 pound batards, but regular customers receive only 3 pounds. I think it's a little bit unfair to pay $12 for a 3 pound batard and not even be told about a difference in size. So, I called and spoke with Chloe. I asked if I could please purchase a 5 pound batard since I had received one when I first ordered. She told me that that was a mistake, 5 pound loaves are for wholesale customers only and when I asked, could I please just go ahead and purchase one, that I would pay the difference if need be, she said absolutely not! What really gets my goat is that they already sold me one and now they refuse to sell me another. It’s such bad business. What ever happened to putting customers first? Millennials just don’t care. That’s the bottom line. Buyer beware.

I got a croissant from their booth at the Mueller Farmers market this weekend and it was such a disappointment. Chewy, flavorless, no flakey texture, no butter taste.

Really nice patio setting with coffee, tea, and their wonderful baked goods. Pation open after awful fire. Yay!

Please go over to the garden and eat breakfast or lunch! It might not look open, but they have an amazing outdoor space and delicious food and drinks. They need our support! Cheers

One of Austin's best. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner and an authentic Austin icon.

This is one of my favorite austin restaurants! It was fancier before the building burned down, but they've kept up the business with a food trailer until they can rebuild. Their courtyard is beautiful and I love being there. Also the ginger snaps are incredible. All good things!

Super unimpressed by this place. I had really high hopes going in, as a lover of French bread. I saw they had a ham & Swiss sandwich and got super excited as I expected it to be in a baguette. Silly me, when I asked I was told that the sandwiches are only made on their sandwich-slice-cut sourdough. I came all this way so I was like okay I'll try it. I did a half sandwich because the prices are insanely high. Full regular sized sandwich (quality of one you could make at home) is priced at $17!!! So I get myTiny half sandwich with a sad side of tortilla chips and salsa that really doesn't match up with anything else on the menu. My boyfriend gets a half turkey. We should have just split a full sandwich in hindsight because neither of us really ate our side of chips. The ham itself was pretty good, but not good enough to save this meh meal. High quality meat that would be better showcased on a baguette simply with Swiss and Dijon. The atmosphere was cute, I liked being among the trees and the airstream was a nice touch. But yeah...won't return. No reason two lackluster half sandwiches and two small drinks should total $38.

I'm so glad TFB is back up and running. The food is always SO GOOD and so fresh. I just had a salad nicoise for lunch and it was amazing. I also always pick up English muffins whenever I stop by. I never knew how good they could be!Their outdoor seating area under the oaks is beautiful and comfortable, and the staff is great. If you haven't been here in a while, come treat yourself while supporting a true Austin original.

It's sad that their bakery burnt down, but this new little trailer is in a nice place with some shade and outdoor seating. The staff was friendly, and seemed to be busy. They didn't have a lot of customers when I arrived, but I saw a lot of "to go" type orders were being made while we were there. It felt like it was slow, but overall they made a lot of food fairly quickly, so I think it was just a matter of perspective. It wasn't helpful that I had a deadline to meet, so it made it seem to take forever, but that's on me.The food was good, but the prices are shockingly high. Honestly, I was taken aback. A latte is $6. It was good, but I'd much rather get a large Summermoon latte for less. For my 1 turkey sandwich, it was $17! It was very tasty, I'll admit, and I don't think I've had anything like it in Austin. We treated a friend to essentially an egg sandwich on an English muffin and it was $12 or $13! I thought Starbuck's breakfast sandwich was pricey, but I was wrong. I can't say I'll be going back again any time soon, who can afford to?Bottom line: pretty good food, at an awfully high price.

Always good, with top-quality ingredients. The garden dining area is a wonderful escape from the city bustle.

Went for a ride with my husband this morning on his electric bike and we decided to stop at the Texas French Bread Trailer for a quick bite. They have a nice big open area with a huge tree providing shade for all of the seating that they have available. It's a great outdoor space. So in front of the trailer is the ordering station. They have a nice menu written on chalkboards so that you can see what you want. They have sweet breads and baked breads for sale as well. We went to order and paid. We were there at about 10 am and it was busy but not too busy and there was plenty of seating available. So we placed our order, paid, took a number and found a place to sit. Their prices are reasonable for the service. We waited in the shade and nice weather for less than ten minutes and they brought our food out. My husband ordered the Tostadas which came with two tostadas, two eggs, ranchero sauce, and avocado. I chose the Ham and Swiss Sandwich. This came with ham, swiss cheese, mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. It also came with a side of tortilla chips and salsa. The sandwich was really good. All of the ingredients were fresh. I could taste the mustard and mayonnaise which added flavor to the ham and swiss cheese. It was really good. The salsa also had a good flavor and the chips were very crispy. Overall I really enjoyed the experience with the fresh air outdoor atmosphere, the good food, and the reasonable prices.

I had the breakfast tostada and my husband had the chicken salad sandwich with chips. The tostada was average at best. It seemed that they just took ingredients from jars and put them on the tostada. The fried egg was the best part. It was cooked perfectly. The chicken salad was pretty good and the bread was delicious. Service was fantastic, but prices were too high. The setting was very pretty.

They must have been having an off day going by other excellent reviews. I was there close to opening on a Saturday morning. Good espresso but the warmed up ham and cheese croissant was soggy with partially defrosted ham on the inside. Not a great experience.

Great quality, but be prepared for the sticker shock. I thought that I had been teleported to California. I’d love to visit more and support the business after the fire, but I cannot justify spending that kind of money on snacks
