Good sushi but way too overpriced, overhyped, and most importantly these people are so difficult to work with. The hours are so slim they’re basically never open. They don’t do to-go which is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in a city like Austin. I’m done trying with this place it’s so ridiculous every single time I try stop by for a bite. Such a shame.

Brand new hand roll bar officially open inside Texas saké Co. There's limited seats, 10 total, order at the bar only. Great quality fish with dynamic profile of flavors for handrolls. Counter service, great attention to detail with the menu. The chefs are bar service are awesome. Enjoy some handrolls and sake pairings or flights. I enjoyed the 3 piece combo

Food was okay. Long waiting with the restaurant almost empty. Very small menu. I would not go back.

Rolls are very tiny FYI don’t be fooled by these pics on google. They were filled with the raw fish but a $14 roll finishing in 3 bites ? na son .. Very underwhelmed flavors , rice was undercooked and very underseasoned. Avoid the scallop roll- clashing flavors , was not tasty. Person serving at the time was happy to answer my questions on the menu , the bar is a vibe .

Too expensive for the quality of the hand roll sushi. Nice atmosphere but limited menu.

Hand rolls were solid here but a bit pricier ($12-$14) than elsewhere ($8ish). I tried the scallop, hamachi, and salmon. Of those, I liked the scallop the most. It had hints of truffle and cheese, which made it incredibly savory! The skewers were good too. A little citrusy with a great char.
This is no longer a food truck but located inside of Texas Saké. They don’t have a standalone menu, instead it’s in the iPad, so you go up, order on iPad, and then they find you in the bar.

As the only sake brewery in all of Texas I give them major props. The only problem is the super limited menu. I know (now) it's not a restaurant but I didn't know that when I mapped it.

Fish was so delicious and fresh. Every roll had its own distinct flavor as well. Worth it to try the spam one too!

Nothing special beside food is extremely overpriced for a tiny portion. When asking condiments, we received this comment from the owner/ server/ staff: "Our food is marinated perfectly so you don't need any wasabi or soy sauce". Never come back again.

Dined in Koji Room for tasting menu (booked on Tock). Great service from Chef Daniel, and the nigiri was amazing. If you’re an Omakase fan, you’ll love it here.
