Brand new hand roll bar officially open inside Texas saké Co. There's limited seats, 10 total, order at the bar only. Great quality fish with dynamic profile of flavors for handrolls. Counter service, great attention to detail with the menu. The chefs are bar service are awesome. Enjoy some handrolls and sake pairings or flights. I enjoyed the 3 piece combo
Hand rolls were solid here but a bit pricier ($12-$14) than elsewhere ($8ish). I tried the scallop, hamachi, and salmon. Of those, I liked the scallop the most. It had hints of truffle and cheese, which made it incredibly savory! The skewers were good too. A little citrusy with a great char.

This is no longer a food truck but located inside of Texas Saké. They don’t have a standalone menu, instead it’s in the iPad, so you go up, order on iPad, and then...
As the only sake brewery in all of Texas I give them major props. The only problem is the super limited menu. I know (now) it's not a restaurant but I didn't know that when I mapped it.
