Was looking for a place for our weekly date night but was also craving pizza. This was the only nicer ambiance type place with waiter service I could find. I had low to mid-level expectations before coming since while I do love brick oven pizza, I prefer my neopolitan crust to be a little thicker and chewy and not thin crust. The Backspace is a great spot for wood-fired pizza if you appreciate quality ingredients and a more refined take on classic pies. Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, and I love pizza! Our server was Sydney C. We’re visiting from out of town, and this will be my recommendation to any other tourist. I enjoyed the fennel sausage more than the pepperoni Americano. And I recommend always asking for pepper flakes and chili oil. The tiramisu is worth the extra money.
