Great place for Steelers games but also just generally a really homey bar. Food is stupid cheap for what it is, the Fast Eddie's burger isn't going to blow your mind, but $4 for a solidly grilled 1/2 burger with all the toppings is basically unheard of since I left Pittsburgh. Same for toasted ravioli and cocktail shrimp. Beer and cocktail prices are decent, and there's a lot to choose from. Service is very good, even when the place is rammed on a Sunday game day, which is also when it really comes fully alive.

I went to the Bon Aire with a similar objective to one which spurred my willingness to seek hospitality at another nearby restaurant. Essentially, I wanted to see the hockey game broadcasted on NHL network, which I was pleased to see they had.
I was happy they did not change the channel to woman’s basketball. The Mavs game started on another TV.
I encountered friendly staff. Parking is convenient. It would not be a long walk if I wanted to do that instead.

The Bon Aire and it's new management have made this our favorite place to enjoy food, football and God company. The stage is always friendly, three food is great and it's the best place to watch Steeler football!
My friends and I have been coming to this bar for years to enjoy soccer games and trivia. In the past, we have always had a great time and gotten amazing service, cheap drinks and good food. But as of last night, something has changed (and based on these reviews I can only assume its due to the new management). My friends and I gathered at the Bon Aire after a soccer game and were treated with open hostility and suspicion by the bartender, who cut us off after 1 drink and refused to serve my friend 2 beers when he ordered for himself and a friend who was in the bathroom. Not one of us was intoxicated or rude. To top it off, we (a group of 6 adults) noticed this bartender WATCHING US THRU THE WINDOW while we tried to enjoy ourselves on the patio. I've never experienced such a sudden and rotten vibe shift at a bar. Really disappointed to see another great place getting run into the ground.

Not sure what happened to this place. We used to go here every Sunday and it was great. Good cheap food and really nice people who took great care of us. Excellent service every time. Last two times were really bad. New and unfriendly faces behind the bar. They were out of several menu items and the guy serving the food was not so nice about it. We sat at the bar waiting for our friends to get there and the server began to put up all the chairs. There were still 2 hours to closing. With all the big tables closed off we had to squeeze 8 people around two small high tops. It was very uncomfortable and inhospitable. We each had one beer and left. Not sure we will return as we have found a place just down the road with lovely food and welcoming staff.
