Great place for Steelers games but also just generally a really homey bar. Food is stupid cheap for what it is, the Fast Eddie's burger isn't going to blow your mind, but $4 for a solidly grilled 1/2 burger with all the toppings is basically unheard of since I left Pittsburgh. Same for toasted ravioli and cocktail shrimp. Beer and cocktail prices are decent, and there's a lot to choose from. Service is very good, even when the place is rammed on a Sunday game day,...
the food is really inexpensive yet really tasty. served no frills. way better than what you pay for. what the food lacks in presentation more than makes up for it in price & flavor.
I went to the Bon Aire with a similar objective to one which spurred my willingness to seek hospitality at another nearby restaurant. Essentially, I wanted to see the hockey game broadcasted on NHL network, which I was pleased to see they had.

I encountered friendly staff. Parking is convenient. It would not be a long walk if I wanted...
