Reserved for a certain time and had to wait 30+ minutes in order to be seated so unfortunately we had to leave , absolutely terrible . If we're scheduled to be there at a time that should be what it is , the wait was absolutely absurd ! The bartenders were amazing on the other hand . Good hospitality on their end .
Our server Kamiya was really nice however we were disappointed in everything else :( food took awhile to come out and it was mediocre.
I was really hoping to like this place. They burnt the oxtail and served it anyways, not sure if they thought the sweet potatoes would mask the burnt taste, I sent it back. I then ordered the French toast that too was burnt. The server was super sweet and when she saw the food (it was visibly burnt) she apologized and took it back and apologized for the cook. Over all experience minus the server (she was great!)was disappointing.
Overall it was a good 1st visit to the restaurant. We arrived right as the doors opened, so it was really quiet and the staff was attentive. The food and portions were very good for the price. We will definitely be back for a few other menu items we had our eye on.
We had a great experience at Victory East. Wonderful food and great service. We will be back!
Solid drinks and good food! Service a tad slow but everything was worth the wait. Deviled eggs as starters was the weakest item of the night. Truffle fries were good, hot, crunchy. Oxtail entrees, catfish / both blackened & fried were favorites of the night. Loved the sauce served on the fish, very flavorful. The oxtail mac&cheese is super rich and for that reason is probably better as a side than an entree. Greens were bursting with flavor, maybe a bit too much for some palates. Definitely worth your time & money!
Food took forever to come and wasn't good. They charge for everything and don't have to go cups. Bathroom didn't have paper towels, the door was hard to open and the dryer is right over the trash can, so paper towels flew out of it.
When we arrived, there was an ongoing disturbance at the bar involving a visibly intoxicated guest who used loud, foul, and inappropriate language for much of our dining experience. Given the small, intimate atmosphere, it was difficult to enjoy our meal while overhearing very personal, derogatory, and disruptive conversations. It was apparent that this made us uncomfortable, yet the bar staff did not take any steps to address the situation. Additionally, we were disappointed to discover that a gratuity was automatically included for a party of two without any prior notice. Because we were not provided with an itemized bill, I unknowingly added an additional generous tip on top of the included gratuity. The lack of transparency around billing and tipping felt misleading and unethical. Overall, this experience was disappointing and did not meet expectations for professionalism or customer care.
Went there to get food and drinks ordered drinks at the bar. They messed up my friends drink. We ordered food, waited over a hour and it never came and it wasn't busy so we ended up leaving. My drink was fine, a bit overpriced imo.
It was a nice Friday evening, got a quick reservation. Ordered their wings and lamb dish with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. We followed it with the peach cobbler but when we got it, it was completely raw. Service was great other than that!

Food was not good at all. The rice was stale and the food took an hour to come out. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile too. Extremely disappointed...
The food was terrible the service was extremely slow and only had one waiter. They don't know what they are doing. Beautiful place but outside of that it's horrible. I really wanted to like this place.
Victory East was a pleasant surprise. The service, the food and the atmosphere were truly wonderful. I will definitely be going back--especially for the oxtails and crabcakes. Roxanne
Made reservations the day of and when I got there I was notified that they didn't have anymore availability and that someone reached out to me which I didn't receive. We were asked if we wanted to go to the patio or bar. We opted to go to the bar. We ordered drinks and food and after ordering there was a cancellation and we were given the option to move to that table, we did. Food came and it was great, and then we had to leave because the next reservation for the table was there. Overall a nice place. Great ambiance just don't like the limited time spent at the tables. The lady at the door was really great at finding us a table. Loved her energy,
The space is very nice and we enjoyed our time. The staff was awesome. Will return for a night out again.
