Overall it was a good 1st visit to the restaurant. We arrived right as the doors opened, so it was really quiet and the staff was attentive. The food and portions were very good for the price. We will definitely be back for a few other menu items we had our eye on.
Solid drinks and good food! Service a tad slow but everything was worth the wait. Deviled eggs as starters was the weakest item of the night. Truffle fries were good, hot, crunchy. Oxtail entrees, catfish / both blackened & fried were favorites of the night. Loved the sauce served on the fish, very flavorful. The oxtail mac&cheese is super rich and for that reason is probably better as a side than an entree. Greens were bursting with flavor, maybe a bit too much for some...
It was a nice Friday evening, got a quick reservation. Ordered their wings and lamb dish with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. We followed it with the peach cobbler but when we got it, it was completely raw. Service was great other than that!
