Just popped by the downtown farmer's market yesterday with my family to celebrate my birthday. The mushroom and brie quiche I bought from Cake & Spoon was out of this world. I just wanted to send a quick note about how much I enjoyed one of your pecan pies this week.My wife and I are from North Little Rock, Arkansas, and we just returned from a road trip to Houston and San Antonio. Our path home took us through Austin, and I was lucky enough to catch Franklin Barbecue at a slow point on Tuesday. I loaded up on 'cue, and ordered a pecan pie almost as an afterthought.I'm a 51-year-old man from the South, so I've had my fair share of pecan pies. This was, without a doubt, the best version I've ever eaten. I just felt obliged to let you know.Thank you for the wonderful treat. If I'm ever in Austin again, rest assured I'll make a point to get another.
We experienced pies at Franklin's and oh my; were they good! We had the pecan pie, key lime and bourbon banana pie and each of them were extremely tasty, Will definitely be back for more.

These are the best pies I've EVER had in my life. I'm 69 yrs old and believe me I've consumed a lot of pies in my life. The crust is so light and flakey OMG there are no words to describe how wonderful they are. I've gotten them with my order at Franklin's BBQ twice. I've had the pecan, key lime, Ruby's Dang pie, key lime & lemon chess each one outstanding & delicious. As I can only afford Franklin's about once a year could you tell me where else I can buy these wonderful mana from heaven ? pies?
