EXTRAORDINARY. They care so much about the food and service here. The price is extremely reasonable for such high quality. A lovely, polished environment. The details of the room and decor are wonderful. The open kitchen is a calm treat, offering upscale skill, but never distraction or chaos. Every element of this experience was above and beyond. The Rosewood Steak was unbelievably well prepared and presented. Texture, flavor, creative presentation, luxury service. Nothing is lacking here. Outstanding in every way.

We had the $55 special for three courses and every single thing we ordered was fantastic. We'd especially recommend the sweet potato soup starter, the scallops and the sea bass, and the butterscotch pudding dessert, along with the red wine poached pear. The service was knowledgeable and just the right amount of attentive. It's fun to see the kitchen and one of the cooks was kind enough to explain about the fresh herbs used in the different plates. Absolutely wonderful.

I've come here for years. Always great. This dinner was exceptional! Y'all have really upped your game with the menu and food quality and presentation! I will not say the service was better because those students are always right on the mark. Kudos! You make this alum and Austinite proud.

This place is awful every time we come to Austin from out of town, we come to this restaurant for the buffet service we showed up this morning and we had a reservation, but the buffet was not available. I consider that a really bad management. They should have notified us that the buffet is not available before we show up , especially that we were driving from other parts of the downtown. I would not recommend coming here as I don’t think they keep up with the service they say they provide.

Came on a slower evening since it was a Thursday night and holiday break time but nonetheless the service was impeccable. This was one of my favorite dinners I had in 2025, the presentation, attention to detail, unique ingredients and service was top notch. I hope more people choose to dine here as they have an incredible $55 three course dinner meal. I ordered the scallops and my friend ordered the wagyu steak, both cooked to perfection

Called on 11/25/2025 to make a lunch reservation for 20 people later in December, and was hung up on mid conversation by a very rude female receptionist/hostess. When I tried calling back, it rang once and they hung up on me again. We’ve held our end‑of‑year gatherings here for several years, but after this experience we won’t be returning. I’ll be sure to share this with others around campus as well.

Omgg!!! Yall!!! The Hausbar Farm Salad - with crispy chickpeas - made my heart SO happy!! And the Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection with clams and some magic in a bowl!! The atmosphere was very nice and the Bartender and Waitperson - Candy - was absolutely personable and professional and lovely!! Thank you Candy!! For making my meal unforgettable!!
What a fantastic experience that started upon entering and meeting Candy at the bar for perfectly crafted cocktails. Candy is the perfect person for greeting customers on the way to their tables or bellying up to the bar. Our server (name? Braids) did a fabulous job explaining the options. The food was perfectly prepared and creative. The wine steward made fantastic suggestions. The ambience is comfortable and quiet. It is nice to be able to have a conversation with out doing it at the top of your lungs. Very much enjoyed our dining experience and we will be back!

Food was great. However bet service was awful. The drink I ordered at the beginning of my meal was finally delivered an hour later when I had asked for my check. Ridiculous I will be back

Great selection of food! Appetizers, Brunch, Dinner, and Dessert! Make sure if you have a large party- 6 to check where you will be seated. We were put in a banquet room 3 flights of stairs from the buffet line. My 82 year old mother-in-law was able to take the elevator but it was at the opposite end of the restaurant then our table, so not much help. When I approached the desk to ask about a change of location, of the three people standing there one let me know that was not possible even though there were tables throughout the main area available. The others ignored me even after making eye contact. Service was hit or miss when our server was in the room. Other servers focused on their own tables and did not acknowledge us. Clean silverware was not offered, two extra place settings were never remove. We had to ask twice for the check. I would suggest only smaller groups, especially on holidays.

This was a stellar selection for Thanksgiving. What a great selection, in a really comfortable setting. The food was excellent, the service friendly and not overbearing, and the ambience was perfect for Thanksgiving. We will definitely do it again next year.
