We moved from Austin 7 years ago to retire in Mexico. The East Side was always “our area” and the section we called home in Austin. We come back to visit for a month or so each year and so much has changed in this city we love.

While The Cavalier was not here when we left, it now welcomes us home each year when we return. It reminds us so much of the old Austin we love! Affordable, good tasting food, fantastic drinks that don’t break the bank and a kind...

Found this place back in September. Every time I come in, they have something new on their menu that blows my mind. Bartenders and staff are super kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. One of the best places to eat and nicest bars
