I'm shocked at the audacity of this place to be honest. I'm happy to pay good money for good food but every dish our group had was legitimately bad. $24 pot pie was so dry my friends could barely eat it, salmon on my salad was barely cooked (not just rare, ice cold and totally raw in the center). Service was middling at best. Drinks were nothing to write home about.
Price to value ratio is absurd.
Two stars for good location and clean interior (something difficult to find on 6th).

Arrived at the end of happy hour and got a g&t for about $4.25 after tax & 20% tip and recieved a tasteful and heavy pour. Music was relaxed, the staff were friendly and didn't rush me. The only negative was that two of the chairs were missing parts of their legs and so when I feel down, I rocked back unexpectedly, but I was able to swap them out for a better chair.

I think they’re figuring out the menu for ATX. Ignore that- best Irish Pub in Austin and a fine one outside of Ireland. Full stop. Enjoy the craic! #perfectpint #splitthe

Came here with coworkers while on a business trip. Actually came for the fish n chips, but wasn't impressed with that as much as I was the new muscles dish and corned beef sandwich. The muscles come in a creamy leak sauce that is phenomenal. Highly recommend! The fried fish was ok, but I didn't like the tartar sauce and that is what makes or breaks fish n chips for me. Another coworker got the Pot Pie and that was very good as well. We got a weird table by the bar because there was a wait for normal tables. We had to serve ourselves for the most part including drink refills and table water, but the bar was close enough to not be a big deal.

We walked down the The Dead Rabbit after attending a quartet candlelight Halloween performance nearby. The place was busy but we were able to grab a couch and a table to eat. The food was very good and the Scotch eggs and fish and chips were the highlights. We enjoyed the vibe with music and service was good considering how busy it was at the time. We'll definitely plan to visit again!

I’ve been here a few times, and every visit is better than the last. Their cocktail selection is out of this world. Easily some of the best cocktails in Austin! Whether you’re popping in for a quick drink or staying for brunch, you’re in for a treat. I especially love that it’s tucked away in West End, making it feel like a hidden gem.
Food and drink here were fantastic. Exceeded all my expectations!

Scams you with double taxes. Avoid!
(they are going to try to gaslight in a response about how this is required. It is NOT. They are liars and scammers)

If you're in Austin and love a good pub, you have to check out Them out. It’s got such a cozy feel, and the bartenders know their stuff. I stopped by for brunch with some friends, and it did not disappoint. Their Irish coffee was the perfect start to my day. Plus, it’s in a great spot if you’re exploring Red River.
I recently moved to Austin and have been on a mission to find the best local spots. I can officially say Dead Rabbit is one of the best cocktail bars in Austin. Their drinks are creative and strong, and the vibe is perfect for a laid-back evening with friends. Bonus: The staff is super friendly, which always makes a difference!

My first visit to the new Dead Rabbit outpost in ATX did not disappoint.
Lunch was Fish & Chips with an Irish Coffee and both hit the spot. The food portions are very generous so if you’re a light eater like I am one main will serve 2 people.
The Irish Coffee was perfectly balanced and delicious.
I went back in the early evening for a delicious creamy pint of Arthur’s finest and washed that down with a fantastic dram of Poitín.

Great Service! Large selection of whiskeys! And I strongly suggest getting the Irish Points Oysters, they are very flavorful and delicious. I will definitely be back and strongly suggest checking this place out if you are in downtown Austin.

The perfect square ice cube in their spicy margarita was a nice touch. For such a busy place on a super busy street, we felt well taken care of.
