Beautiful...highly recommend reservations. ADA wheelchair accessible...no free parking... the bar is incredible...
They are closed
Clubbier extension of the Roosevelt room with more room to stand and mingle. Like its counterpart the drinks and bartenders are excellent here. There is bar and table seating.
Paid parking is available on surrounding streets.
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would.
I rented the Mezzanine space for my wife's birthday party. I planned the event with their event manager, Alessi, who is absolutely fantastic. He is clearly very good at this because he went over all the details down to silverware and food choices and various stages of the party, even making adjustments and accommodations to their rules so it fit my requirements.
They had an a/c issue just hours before the party and Alessi offered multiple alternate plans and he made sure to cause minimal inconvenience to my guests.
The food was amazing. The bartenders (I did not get their names) were phenomenal and they made what may very well be THE best cocktails I have had in Austin. I tried a Manhattan and an Old Fashioned, and both were exceedingly good.
All in all, the entire staff seemed really intent on making the event a success, which I appreciated very much!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a party and let a very professional staff take care of things.
Rating: 4.5/5 [cocktails only]
We originally went to The Roosevelt Room but found they were fully booked without a reservation. They recommended their sister bar, The Eleanor, next door, describing it as a more casual option. After checking out The Eleanor’s cocktail menu—which looked similar to The Roosevelt Room’s—we decided to give it a try.
The vibe inside is intimate and moody—great for a date night or a chill evening out. The cocktails are definitely on the pricey side, so this is more of a special-occasion spot for me. On top of that, they tack on a $1 per person charge for staff benefits, which feels like something that shouldn’t be passed onto customers. However, the cocktails are expertly crafted, making The Eleanor one of our top five bars in Austin right now.
Long Farewell ($20): A mix of RR coconut vodka, Mizu lemongrass shochu, cucumber, pandan, Thai herb syrup, whey, pineapple, lime, yuzu, neroli, Thai chili & Himalayan salt powder (contains dairy). This one was seriously delicious—smooth, well-balanced, and all the flavors worked well together.
Mauna Loa’s Plume ($20): Suntory Toki Japanese whisky, brown butter-washed Calvados, jasmine green tea syrup, mint, shiso, orange bitters, and a salt tincture (contains dairy). This cocktail was equally impressive—smooth, clarified, and tasty. My only gripe? Way too much ice, so it felt like there wasn’t much actual drink.
Very nice ambience and Ky the bartender was very professional and friendly.
Great Cocktails and Atmosphere!
Drinks were expensive and sucked. They just stick a bunch of fancy sounding stuff in a glass and charge $25.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas pop up!
Their miracle on 5th street is super cute!!

You have to love the Christmas pop up here! The decorations are worth a stop. Plus drinks of all kinds will have Christmas coming out of your nose in between laughs. I had a great time with a buddy and the photo ops are priceless!
The venue staff was very accommodating and worked with us to make sure we had a successful fundraiser. We had a speakeasy themed event which the venue was perfect for. Everyone loved the vibe, and we will definitely consider them again to host an event.
Nice place drinks and selection was great big enough to house 75 people for a party
Unique drinks and hospitable bartenders.
Worth every penny! Drinks were amazing, atmosphere was great, and the bartenders were so sweet.
