Im just writing this to warn people of the ridiculous parking enforcement where if you’re not careful your car will be booted. I was here on a Tuesday night, the bar was pretty dead outside of a few other parties. First of all there is just no need to have paid parking for this bar during that time. It’s Tuesday night, nothing is open in the lot besides…the bar. Second the signage is not immediately obvious either, I assumed I could just park anywhere like any other business on South Lamar. Turns out there is paid parking, my car was booted after an hour of being a paid customer. While I was able to work something out with the bartender (nice lady, made a great cocktail by the way) to get compensated for it, the whole situation just felt unnecessary.
Other than that BS, the drinks are good, but pricey and also mine were like halfway filled? I don’t know if that’s intentional but if I order a $15 drink, I kind of expect it to be close to the brim of the glass. I wish they had some better patio seating though, where the music was also unnecessarily loud outside.

The companies in this lot need to get rid of the parking scam ASAP. Not going back anytime soon which is sad because I used to love this place. I scanned the QR code for parking, GG offers 2 hours free parking, I assume you pay after that. I was there maybe an hour and went out to a boot on my truck as well as my friends. Parking attendant was beyond clueless when we showed him the parking validation time stamped 20 minutes before the boot and parking ticket were placed on the trucks. If your system has that much of a delay that you can’t recognize who has and has not registered for parking then you have ZERO business running a business at all.
GG please provide information on the parking attendant company so I can move this bad review to the appropriate party.

Maybe it's just me but I am most certain that most cocktails are typically filled closer to the brim, like our new york sour we got but both bartenders made them entirely different and only half the glass was full, maybe since it was $3 off they took that literally within the cocktail. Needs some better bartenders. Edit: It was two dudes, one standing around and looking like it was first day bartending and the other like they just gave him the keys for the first time.. nice peeps just horrible cocktail makers.

Great atmosphere in a classic south Austin location. Tasty cocktails that lean a bit sweet for my own taste, but I enjoyed my choices. Cozy inside, and great little patio that happened to have an excellent pop up (burgers) when I came in.
