Great atmosphere in a classic south Austin location. Tasty cocktails that lean a bit sweet for my own taste, but I enjoyed my choices. Cozy inside, and great little patio that happened to have an excellent pop up (burgers) when I came in.

Haven't been here since it was the horseshoe, but the music and drinks are still great. My group came by after a company Christmas party and the food hit the spot later in the night.
If i can give zero stars i would. this place is absolute trash and prioritizes trash. Was waiting for a beer for 30 min while sitting at the bar and watched a belligerent friend of the bar tender get a drink before me in 10 seconds. This bar is for people without any class and need a place for a cheap beer and cheap company and cheap service. Do better.

Hey! I love visiting GG and always appreciate the fun vibe there. However, I’ve noticed recently that the cocktails and mixed drinks aren’t quite hitting the mark like they used to. Last time, my drink just didn’t have that same quality, and I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I switched to ordering beer instead. The cocktails used to be well worth the $14-$18, and I wonder if maybe some premade cocktail options could help lighten the load on the staff, especially during those busy rushes. Just a thought! I’ll still be coming by; I’ll just stick to canned drinks for now.
