The meat tasted good but there was barely any! Got a 'stuffed' gyro which has a few fries, and it was basically stuffed with fries and bread. Shrinkflation stings again 😞

Charged for meat that was not put with my salad. I called back and they said they would issue a refund. It has been a week and no refund issued. I should have learned from the first time this happened. Oh well.
Halal Corner in Austin is a great spot for a tasty and satisfying meal. The food was fresh and flavorful. The beef in the plate were juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere felt welcoming, with a clean and comfortable setup. Service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for good halal optons.

When getting food to go, check your bag before you leave. I have been given incomplete meals twice from this place. And they do not offer and fix or refund.
Sketchy business

I ordered at the counter a Greek salad and paid extra to add gyro meat. I should not have tipped and/or checked my to go bag as the did not include the meat. I called there after I got back to my office and noticed this. The lady on the phone said she knew about the meat and was sorry and offered a refund. No refund was ever given.
This is the second time I have not been given what I paid for here.
100% do not recommend this place.

I LOVE THE CAULIFLOWER SO MUCH!!! I oscillate between loving the Jalp sauce and the orange sauce - both are so yum and have a nice kick. The employees are really nice and they’re super quick. We used to drive over to Kismet and are so excited this spot exists bc it’s closer :))) amazing and yum. try it

For what it lacks in atmosphere, the food was fantastic! Some of the best hummus I’ve ever had, and the falafel was so flavorful I had to eat it slowly and truly enjoy it. It’s not a beautiful spot to look at, but don’t let that fool ya! Halal
Bros has nothing on this place.
Frequent customers - Always clean interiors and the staff is so friendly! Amazing prices and great food :) could not ask for more!
Love this place, I wish they had some Shrak bread and a Beef shawarma arabi plate. The hummus is so damn good 10/10
I used to LOVE this place. NOT anymore.
Used to eat here several times a month
Tonight was our final visit.
The last 3 times food has not been as good. I get that there can be an off day. We were starving and generally food tastes amazing at that point but I could only stomach a few bites. Tonight it was clear fries were old and refried.
Rice was lacking flavor. I subbed in tabouleh and literally was given two tablespoons. The gyro meat tasted freezer burned and the pita was tough and chewy. Water was dripping on our heads from the ceiling. I brought up the concerns and no remedy was offered. Not sure if it’s because we went on a Sunday night
Loved it
