Great place to WFH - playground and garden in the back for kids/pets

Two young baristas were very kind. Latte drinks were not great. Not a fan of the commercial syrups.
The playground was very confusing & felt unsafe for our toddlers & smell was overpowered with mothballs. This place has a lot going on. We drank maybe half our lattes & headed out.
My recommendations. Work on signature coffee drinks, homemade syrups. Clean up the back outdoor patio, maybe one big open & even area for kids to run around. Less is more.
Nice coffee joint and has kids play area.
Kid-friendliness: There is a play aarea

Brooklyn and Travis are great!!! Super chill environment to hang at, the coffee is amazing and so are the espresso martinis!!! Def a must try if you need a go to coffee spot!
I came out of my way to come here because I’m rarely this far south, only to find out that they happened to close early today. If you’re going to close outside of your normal hours, you should at least update your Google listing so people don’t go out of their way for nothing.
Went there for a special event. The atmosphere was nice, they had nice play sets for the kids, but someone at the Hive didn't do a very good job with booking because they were closed. I was looking forward to trying their coffee too!
The food is mostly prepackaged HEB pastries (noticed this on a recent trip) and the bar service is as inconsistent when a friend and I went in late on Friday (they had a bar but no bartenders working). A lot of other sights near by with more variety/full service.

It’s such a cute place with great table set up and decor, and I love to support women owned businesses! Hoping they hire baristas with a bit of training in the future. I’ve tried ordering a cappuccino twice now, and both times it was just a large-size latte cup full of milk with a single shot. That’s not even close to being a cappuccino! I even tested my luck once ordering a cortado and yet again, it was just a large latte lol. If they’re only willing/able to make large lattes, that’s totally fine — but they should update the menu. :)

One of a kind space in South Austin, every square inch has character and charm. The drink and beverage selection is phenomenal and always expanding. Special shout out to Travis for being the man! Perfect for studying with free coffee refills.

I always have an exceptional experience here! And we go almost weekly! The owner is wonderful, the customer service is great, and the coffee is amazing!
I also love that there's a play house and a ton of toys for the kids to play with. We can't wait until the play scape is done being renovated!
I highly recommend bringing a book and sitting on the couch while sipping a latte ?
This is further south than I would usually venture but I would say a great work from home spot for anyone in South Austin!
The staff was really friendly and was able to guide me since it was my first time visiting.
It is a great place to work- plenty of tables and even couches. They also have an outdoor area and meeting rooms(not sure if you need to reserve beforehand).
I literally came just to work so I got one of the specialty coffees with a little bit of hazelnut added ?
Plenty of parking, so dont worry about that.

Parking: Was getting a window fixed for my car 1 minute walking distance. They recommended this coffee shop since I had my kids. They have traditional pastries and coffee options. They had plenty of sitting inside and outside. Water stations are available. They had a playarea and a playhouse with a slide. My kids enjoyed it and helped pass the time
Kid-friendliness: Play area with rocks, different types of swings, and a play house with slide. Plenty of picnic tables. Sign saying they are expanding their play area!
Recommended dishes: Croissant, Pastries
I don’t even do reviews for things, but they just went out of their way to make me something they were out of and it just really made my day. ?
