Stopped by The Jackalope and it’s a classic downtown bar that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The vibe is laid-back and local, with a mix of regulars and people just passing through. Pizza was OK, but i'm a new jersian so I really wasn't expecting much. Slices are big, which is all that mattered. $5 cocktails and the bartender was lovely, great atmosphere (my bf won me two rubber ducks, don't even worry). Delicious drinks and cool patio bar out back to have a smoke at. Loved it!
Some disappointing factors to think about. #1 i bought 4 drinks for $25. I bought 2 of the same four drinks and it was $38. Different bartenders. Someone is ripping people off.
