Brunch was delicious, I highly recommend the Turkish Eggs and Lemon Danish. Our server Alex was so polite, and the manager Bobby even checked in on us. I would recommend The Kitchen for brunch!

The ambience was lovely. They had a 2person band playing. The 8 course set menu was very yummy and the service was very good. We will definitely dine there again.
So awesome! Food was outstanding and they personalized menus for a fun birthday experience!
The experience is incoherent and unsatisfying. You get mostly tiny portions, brought in random order, served to anyone among a party of 10 people. You're left wondering if what you ordered got to the table and who got it and it doesn't add up to a meal. I see how this strategy serves the restaurant but not the diners. It was also overpriced for such tiny portions.
Love this place and always enjoy going there on my birthday.

Great food, my personal favorite was the gnocchi! Would definitely return to try more dishes!
What a great brunch spot with free live blues on Saturdays 12-3. The food and service were fantastic and so was the blues! Can’t believe this place wasn’t more full. The pricing was very reasonable and the portions generous. Let’s review: the seasonal fruit (pictured) was a sweet, tart and refreshing mix of berries, lemon zest, and mint. I usually hate mint. But this was very fresh. It worked well. The mixed greens with quinoa were dressed well with a tasty vinaigrette. But the home run was the Cuban. One of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp and hot panini with delicious melted cheese, pork and beef. The service was impeccable. Food came out quickly. The latte was perfection. I would be in here every Saturday if I lived in the area.

We went here originally to go to see Paul Val, a local musician, who is always fun to see; the bonus was the good food we found here!
We went to brunch... food, drink and service was on point. A bonus was the music at brunch. Definitely will be coming back. Don't let the construction in the area scare you off.

Fantastic restaurant all around. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We sat at the bar and D was amazing, helping us to navigate the menu and taking care of us. If you like espresso martinis this is the place to have one. The food is delicious beyond belief.
I like that the plates are made for sharing, like family style, so you can try multiple dishes. We ordered the delicata squash, crispy cauliflower, gnocchi, garlic fries, and pork chop. I can't begin to describe how incredible the mixture of ingredients in each dish was. My favorite was the gnocchi that is pan fried so that along with its pillowy softness you get a little bit of crunch with each bite.
There are so many other items on the menu I want to try that I can't wait to go back. This is a must try when you're downtown.
Sorry for just the one picture. It was the first dish to come out, crispy cauliflower. It was so incredible that I started digging into the other dishes forgetting to take pictures before doing so because I was so excited to try the next and the next.😄

We tried probably 10 dishes. Unbelievable. Didn't love the crab fried rice but everything else was wow.

Visited this gem for my anniversary and had a fantastic experience. We were greeted with a candle-lit table and complimentary wine, which the manager immediately switched to non alcoholic champagne upon discovering we didn't drink alcohol. The manager (or who I assume to be the manager) was so very nice. Our waitress also did a great job at making sure we were comfortable all the time and also great and attentive. The food was great. I didn't want to take pictures because I really just wanted to celebrate with my wife. Most of the dishes seem to be tapas style and shareable. We started off with hamachi tiradito dish which was probably our favorite. The hamachi came in a plate soaked with some kind of sauce that was pretty good and left us wanting for more. We then got the lobster rolls. These were also pretty good and tasted a notch above other lobster rolls I have had. We then had the burrata which had an apple/pear jam that was really good. Then came the crab fried rice which was decent but we didn't really care for the peanuts in it. Finally we had the duck bao which slapped. The duck was tender and moist and the bao was also very soft and not chewy The location is at the bottom corner of what seems to be a new hotel. The ambience was cool with a very dim lit romantic setting and most people were dressed up in business casual or semi formal wear Overall fantastic time with great food and impeccable service. Would be back
Group of 4 ate at The Kitchen this week and I am shocked that this restaurant isn't on every must try list in Austin right now. The food was varied and delicious, and the advice to order items to share was great. There were so many things we wanted to try it was hard to narrow the selection down. The service was attentive, without being either aloof or an all too obvious attempt at over familiarity which is common in other places in town. We sat close to the kitchen and it was entertaining to watch the chefs in action, yet it was not noisy or distracting. We did not sit at the bar area and it was not busy when we were there but it looks lovely so will plan to do that next time. Definitely worth booking, it might be our new first choice place.
