My favorite bar on the east 6th! It has dive bar ambiance and the crowd is a bit older which is exactly the vibe we were looking for.

Nestled on a side street with a flickering sign, The Liberty doesn’t try to dress itself up—and thank god for that. This is a dive bar in the purest sense: gritty, honest, and full of stories.
The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by dim lighting, illuminated bar, and a crew of regulars that seem like they’ve been holding down the same barstools for years. Walk through the pool tables towards the back door and find plenty of outdoor seating. The bathrooms are what you’d expect from a dive bar
Drinks are ridiculously affordable. Whether you’re ordering a domestic, a whiskey neat, or the mysterious “house special” shot, you’ll leave buzzed without breaking the bank. The bartenders are sharp, salty, and surprisingly attentive. They don’t do frills, but they pour heavy and laugh loud.
