If you are looking for the weird, funky, old Austin vibe, you will find it here. I had a really great time just hanging out in a relaxed atmosphere. The Black Hatter cocktail was just what I was craving. I will definitely be back whenever I am in the area.
I've only ever come at night, and only sat outside. The mix of music that they play is usually great, the bartenders have always been really nice, and the atmosphere outside on the picnic benches is really good. It's a quiet chilled out neighborhood bar where you can easily talk to the people you are with.
I can't comment at all on any of the food places as they've never been open when I've been here.

What a fantastic bar! I was visiting Austin from the UK and this place was recommended to me. And it didn't disappoint. They really made me feel welcome, the beer was well priced, and delicious.
