Max was very warm, friendly and helpful with recommending star dishes. The food was delicious and the space is gorgeous (nice work, Kelly Wearstler). I’d recommend this spot for those visiting Austin!
Food was good and our server was generally attentive / knowledgeable. The pace of dishes coming out of the kitchen was a bit slower than I expected given when we dined and that the restaurant was about half full. Overall, a nice experience, just wished the pacing of dishes was tighter.
Exceptional vibe and architecture, perfect lighting, great appetizers. Met some cool people and had unusual conversations. The lamb kebab was sadly dry and overcooked. I have a rule not to send meat back to the kitchen out of respect for the animal. I wish they had the same respect cooking it. It was petrified and wooden. I would go back for sure but I would be very very specific about my expectations next time.
