We had the oxtail plate with greens and yams, lamb chops, and the fish plate fish plate with mac and okra.
Oxtail plate was great, well seasoned. The yams were canned but still okay. The lamb chops were good but could have been seared a little longer. Fish was okay and fried okra was pretty good! That watermelon Kool AID ----- BUSSIN! Cornbread...... BUSSIN!

I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders with 1 side of macaroni and cheese and my husband did the same but with rice and gravy for his side. Chicken tenders are usually just okay for me, but the breading on these is fantastic. The tenders were flavorful and moist. I am a mac and cheese person though and I would put theirs in my top three. Very very tasty. My husband's rice and gravy was also extremely tasty and we decided since the 3 tenders was more than enough (we each took 1 home) we would order 1 3 piece next time and then investigate more of their sides.

I am in town for the weekend with my family and decided to try this restaurant after a disappointing experience at a nearby competitor. I'm so glad we did! The customer service was outstanding, and the food was even better. Every dish was perfectly seasoned, hot, and fresh. The side dishes were equally impressive, and the chicken was amazing—it’s so good you don’t need anything with it! I’ll definitely return whenever I’m in town and will happily recommend this place to my friends and family.

**Do not order** from Door Dash or Uber Eats. They absolutely cannot get the orders right. EVER.
We have been supporting this business for years and used to love it. However, when at least half of my order is missing each time I order, that shows a blatant lack of customer service. I paid just like the customers at the tables, but my order is ALWAYS wrong! The service via delivery or pickup is absolutely unacceptable. I wish this business took more pride in ALL of their orders.
Just stop offering delivery options or to-go if you don’t care about getting the orders right. It’s not that complicated to put a single order together correctly. That’s incredibly lazy and unprofessional. Ya’ll can do better…

My partner and I both ordered the chicken strips and waffles. My food tasted great, but my partner’s food came out room temp instead of hot. Our server had his AirPods in and was speaking under his breath to the point where he had to ask him to repeat what he was saying a few times. Still, he was kind and kept checking in on us to make sure we were good. The booth we sat at didn’t have enough space and we were cramped. Lastly, we were given plastic utensils for dining in, and it was hard to cut into our chicken. Guests who dine in should be given metal utensils instead of a takeout utensils packet.
