The ambience was ideal for a cozy New Year night. I loved the menu organization. The Clover Club was delicious, but Milk Punch’s floral profile wasn’t my favorite.

900$ for only a table !!!
This is my favorite place but $900 for just one table, horrible DJ, super boring, New Year's Eve party, I feel ripped off and I will never go again.

I’m a fan of high quality craft cocktails, so I had been wanting to try Roosevelt Room for awhile.

I walked in with my friend to try it out (no reservation) the wait was less than 10 minutes to be seated.

Their menu is situated similar to other cocktail bars I’ve been to (not in Austin). The menu has the drinks listed in the different time periods of alcohol they’re from.

I ordered the clover club, which was made very well. The taste was up to par, definitely recommend giving it a try.

The milk pinch wasn’t really what I was expecting, it was very floral (as you can probably see by the picture). I wasn’t a big fan of this drink myself since that’s not the kind of taste I like, but it was built as a great cocktail-just not for me.

Our server provided great service and had good knowledge of the menu and cocktails in general.

It’s a very dark lighting space, looks good for an intimate date night.
One thing I learned that I didn’t know is that they also serve food.

The cocktails are ~$20 each, they do also offer an elevated version of each cocktail which uses more expensive liquors. Those cocktails are mostly $75 and up.

Parking: It’s in the heart of downtown so finding parking is difficult. It will either be paid street parking or a paid garage

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Roosevelt Room. The bartender cut me off without any justification, despite my respectful behavior and not being intoxicated. What made it worse was the blatant racial bias in how I was treated compared to other customers.

When I asked for clarification, I was dismissed without explanation, and the entire situation felt targeted and unfair. Racism has no place in any establishment, and this kind of behavior should not be tolerated.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values equality and respect. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses these issues to prevent such experiences in the future.

The atmosphere was decent, but the overall experience fell short of expectations. The service was not only slow but also felt dismissive. Staff seemed uninterested in accommodating guests, and I witnessed them cutting off conversations abruptly when customers asked questions. At one point, it felt like they were more focused on rushing people out rather than creating a welcoming environment.

When our drinks finally arrived, they lacked balance and didn’t justify the high price. Combined with the rude interactions, it made the entire experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. This place has potential, but addressing the staff's attitude and service approach is essential to making it enjoyable for guests.

Previously I went here on date and they were amazing. maybe it was cause I was with a white girl. I went here alone and they were super racist and wouldn’t serve me don’t go here alone if you are brown. They are hella rude.

Most over hyped bar in Austin. The cocktails aren’t busy mediocre they are expensive. If you want a dark lounge vibe where everybody working there acts like they are better than you, here is the place.

We had our Firm's Holiday Party at the Roosevelt Room Dec. 11, 2024. It was so fun! The decor, the food, the cocktails...all so nice! Everyone loved the atmosphere, the food and the cocktails. I highly recommend having a private event at this venue. It was great working with Alessi and Shanna planning this event over several months.

This staff is excellent and clearly has been trained to create a memorable experience for their guests by providing exceptional customer service. They seem to pride themselves on attention to the details as well as producing a delicious cocktail selection. The bar has a classy ambiance with relaxing and welcoming vibe. It can be as formal as you want or as laid back as you need.
Special thanks to Justin and his staff for a wonderful evening! While the drinks are fantastic, the staff is the main reason I come back again and again! Cheers to you!
