Roosevelt room has some of the best cocktails that I have ever tasted. Great variety with a historical list which is almost in a way educational and some home made varieties that are very well crafted. Bartenders are attentive and polite. The issue that I have with the Roosevelt Room is that they work very hard to make it feel like an exclusive space but they don't execute this well. Instead they make you, as a customer, feel over looked and not valued. For example, on this occasion, I had made a reservation for 4:30 pm. I was looking forward to taking a friend there and having a nice time. The open table reservation stated that my seat would be available for up to two hours. I received a phone call explaining to me that I would have to be out of establishment before than time as they had a large party. This communication was day of, a few hour before. No opportunity to adjust the reservation and in speaking with the representative on the phone, zero interest was given that they had backtracked on their agreement when I made the reservation. So just understand, this establishment cares nothing about you and that should be understood when you walk in the door. I will not return, which really bums me out as the potential here is amazing, just unrealized.

Happy we went! I've lived in Austin for over 3 years and had always heard about it but never went. Drinks were reasonably priced given how well they were crafted. Will def be back!! Wish they had some more substantial food but I get the vibe it makes sense why it's limited but overall I enjoyed

Great cocktail bar with a wide variety of creative options. Really enjoyed the penicillin the first time I visited so came back years later for another. Tried the food this time and enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich (added bacon). Nice complement to the cocktails

Great drinks and overall a very wonderful experience. However, considering the vibe that they are trying to achieve, they really need to be using clear ice for their cocktails. It was a definite let down when my old fashioned didn't have clear ice.

I took two men who were interested in buying my company there, and we closed the deal right there and then! This place is my good luck charm. I took my now wife there five and a half years ago on our first date too. Always a spot in my heart for the Roosevelt room.
Very fun place with an EXTENSIVE cocktail menu (pages and pages of drinks). Classics and specialty. Small food menu but enough to keep you from getting too toasted. The dark, club vibe feels good but get a seat in the window if you can. Service can be a bit slow, but nothing different than any bar. Just wave your server down if you need to.
