The bartender on the night of Monday, December 15th at around 6:30pm was extremely rude and abrasive. From the moment we sat down she was horrible. We love this bar and have come here a ton! However I don’t believe I will be back…..

Atmosphere is nice and all, but 15$ before taxes for a single beer is just crazy. Especially because you don’t see prices when standing at the bar.

Saxon Pub is the most wonderful bar in the whole world. and Allison is the most wonderful bar tender in the entire world! I've heard that she's up for some sort of national award

Chill bar to enjoy a game and a beer while waiting for your flight. Flew out on a Saturday night and still had quick service, nice conversation, and got to watch a good game. Prices are average for an airport bar. The garlic parm tenders are juicy, crispy, and tasty.

Pretzel is huge and filling, good flavor and not too salty. Generous amounts of dipping sauces- they have five different ones and they let you pick three. The stone ground mustard is good.

Horrible service! Sat at bar over 25 minutes with no service. Bartender very rude and blamed being called in late and made no attempt to provide service.

Two of us were looking for a restaurant or bar today at the Austin Airport to have a cocktail. The female bartender/server could not have been more rude. We were looking to watch a hockey game. She would not answer my questions about whether they could show it on one of their TVs unless I bought a $16 plus glass of wine. She was not busy. She was belligerent and would not come back to my seat. I never was told if the bar would show the Stars game. When I left her $0 tip for “bad service,” she yelled at me as I left. Stay away from this bar.

Only had drinks here. The live music is hard to beat while waiting for a flight. My go to sit down place while waiting.

Our flight got delayed on Feb 28th of 2025 for about 3 hours. We've got vouchers as a compensation that we could use and redeem at the airport to buy anything! We went to The Saxon Pub, bartender Mark refused to take vertual credit card as a payment. The vaucher had clear instructions for merchant stating it could be used as a regular credit card: Can you please explain your policy so I can take it to United Airlines. Thank you!

The Saxon Pub is the airport location for a bar in Austin. The main location is pretty good, and has a wider selection of food. This one has almost no food, and the beer is prohibitively expensive. I know they have to make up for the high airport rent, But it’s just too much.

Food's not bad. Beer/drink prices aren't listed, which is clever considering they're almost $20

Total and complete rip off. $36 for a double Buffalo Trace. Yes $36 for a drink. The receipts don't even show the name of the place on them. Service is slow as can be with one guy working the bar at mid day.

Drink was served in a dirty glass. Yes you can clearly see that.

They also didn't bother even IDing, so go ahead and try when you're underage.

This place is the worst of Austin. Overpriced for mediocre service. Ill definitely be sure to bring my mini liquor next time I come through Austin. This place is just terrible. More expensive then California.

Deep regrets even stopping in thus dump.

I wish I had taken a picture they took my glass. But orded an old flashion at the airport. Not only was the glass half full the price was $22 and when I got the the end of my drink I discovered an orange which looked like someone chewed it up and spit it out. When I complained they basically said too bad.
I'll never stop there again you can bet that.
