Distinctive little local bar with more space out back than inside. I enjoy their cheeseburger with a native Texas beer while watching a Chuck Norris movie. This place is a priceless piece of Austin.
They have several tap beers, cocktails, shots, burgers, and hot dogs, including combo specials. They have a large free parking lot just off the highway frontage road.

Out of the way, no frills bar with a good menu of burgers, dogs, and veggie options. Tasty burger and dog. Fair prices.

The vegetarian menu is 🔥🔥🔥. The burger was great and I love the vibes. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. I honestly felt like I was in Austin 20 years ago - in the best way possible.

A true dive bar in the old school sense of the word. No pretense, just booze, decent burgers, and no frills.

Went there a few days ago. Instead of Fritos on the hotdog I got jalepenos on it. It didn’t even come with cheese. And the burger was less than mediocre. Was told water is self serve at the door from the jug. They have no black tea they said. Later I noticed a pitcher of ice cold ware and black tea at the counter lol. The bathroom- disgusting. Without too much detail on that, I want to say whatever it is, mold buildup on and around the faucet knobs- how difficult would it be for them to clean sometimes? Apparently that is not important to that establishment. 20.00 for a cheeseburger, chili dog (pork) and a drink, not the 12.00 as promised on their sign at the bar. Bartender also touched top of sipping straw when he put it into the glass, not sure what that was about. I ended up taking it out- figured if the beer glass is good enough for others to drink directly from, I’ll do that.

Favorite new dive bar. Reminds me of old Austin classics. The hot dogs are great too.

I can't love this bar enough. It's everything you'd want in a dive bar and more. Friendly staff, drunk but EXTREMELY friendly patrons and memorable food (elevated above usual bar foods - the smash burger is fire).

I hope you're still alive and well, out there in the world, Dennis.

Nothing to see here. Dive bar with mid burgers.

Most of the worthwhile bars seem to be on the far east side of the city now and this was one of the first. Great dodgey spot with food and drinks that are very affordable by current Austin standards. Service is friendly yet a curt enough to reinforce what sort of place it is (in case the motel rooms by the hour next door and trailer park out back were not enough). Outdoor seating area in the back features a pool table and ample seating if it is crowded inside. Bring a dog but it might encounter a neighborhood cat briefly. If your kid is a 20 something slacker bring them otherwise leave ‘em home.
