Most of the worthwhile bars seem to be on the far east side of the city now and this was one of the first. Great dodgey spot with food and drinks that are very affordable by current Austin standards. Service is friendly yet a curt enough to reinforce what sort of place it is (in case the motel rooms by the hour next door and trailer park out back were not enough). Outdoor seating area in the back features a pool table and ample seating if it is crowded inside. Bring a dog but...
I haven't had a chance the burgers or hot dogs, but everyone says they're great. The place is super chill with a small inside a pretty large outside seating. It is kinda a dive with a great set up.
This place is my favorite bar in all of Austin & I've been in this city since 08. The burgers & dogs are 🔥 plus the booze isn't over price. The best part about this place is the staff, super friendly & laid back. You gotta come here if you like burger's!
