Such a fun place to visit on our trip. Emma was such an amazing bartender that went out of her way to make sure my family (14 yr old girl and birthday pup included) had a great time! Next time we’re in town will be totally be coming back. Penny says thank you for making her 4th pup birthday great!!

I've been here multiple times, and it's just a great neighborhood bar with good people. The in-house beer is solid, not great but I appreciate the deals on happy hour. Cocktails are pretty good, and I've loved some of the more experimental stuff Eric and Greg cook up.

But really, it's not mind-blowing. I just like the people and the vibe 😊. They did me a solid when I moved here and recommended a ton of other places to try, including bars they compete with. They take InKind. They do a Monday free cookout for the community, and Greg can cook some great food 😋. Seriously, consider serving food if it's possible, the food trucks out this way are a bit dire. They have a solid happy hour. It's just the kind of place you should support because you should give back to it what it gives to you.

This guy is on a straight power trip freaked out putting hands on us cause we came through the back entrance after our hotel told us it’s cool….. like take your man bun somewhere else and calm down. Definitely went to the 1000 other food trucks cause your bartender was whacked out!’n 10/24

Stay Put ATX is such a fun and welcoming spot — and they’re super dog friendly! 🐶💛 We loved being there with our furry babies. The place has great music, awesome vibes, and different seating options for every mood, whether you want to chill inside or enjoy the open-air patio.

They also host amazing vendors on the first Friday of every month, so there’s always something new to discover. Definitely check their social media to stay updated on sports, live music, and other events — they always have something going on!

Can’t wait to be back soon for more good times, great people, and wagging tails 🐾🍺

I would give zero stars if I could. I walked in to check if they had beer to-go. The guy behind the bar said that’s not a thing in Texas when clearly it is in a normal brewery. Maybe he was drunk, but no excuse. The only brewery on the Rainey area and hit a zero on all levels. Hopefully, they’ll close soon.

The Stay Put is a laid-back brewpub on Rainey Street in Austin, offering house-brewed beers, draft cocktails, and a dog-friendly patio. Housed in a restored 1920s bungalow, it features communal tables and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu includes a variety of beers like the “Space Coyote” hazy IPA and cocktails such as the “Passion Fruit Margarita.” While some patrons appreciate the ambiance and drink selection, others have noted that prices can be on the higher side. It’s a solid spot for casual drinks, especially if you’re in the area and looking for a pet-friendly venue.
