The Switch by Stiles Switch BBQ

Holy Cow! Brisket at Switch Barbeque in Dripping Springs is some of the best you will have in Texas. The chopped beef sandwich is a generous portion. tithe potato salad is so creamy and tasty you need to make sure you get it. Burnt Ends! These are not covered up with some sugary stuff to make them taste good. They are stand alone. Our waiter Barry was outstanding and the beer is served in frozen mugs. Can you get better than that? It would be difficult.

As a KCBS Member and KCBS Judge with Triple J&C BBQ Team from Kentucky I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the BBQ last night at Switch’s!! From a Judging perspective I tasted the Brisket, Pork, and Ribs. Realizing we are in Texas the Brisket was amazing. Presentation, Taste, and texture was spot on; The pork was moist and smoky; the ribs were great, maybe a tad bit peppery, but the bite was spot on and it is Texas after all. (Attached) BIG shout out to Brian and the whole crew. Wonderful experience, GREAT BBQ!

I have been to the Austin restaurant many times. I enjoyed the food from the Dripping Springs location. The sides are also very good.

When I lived in Austin I frequented the original Stiles Switch on Lamar which as excellent food. I was excited to see they had the Switch out in Dripping, but overall the place has been a disappointment. I've really wanted to like The Switch, but they never have the consistency or quality of the original location. Personally I do not think TX bbq should be waiter service, they should just do counter service like their other locations.

They smoke their burgers right beside the building, I was surprised when I saw the big smokers, my server was good, next time I need to try the peach gobbler

Was a guest here for a wedding rehearsal dinner and the food was amazing. Brisket was moist and tender with great flavor. Jalapeno sausage was delicious as well. Really enjoyed all the sides. They had a bar setup, catering style food was served, and plenty of room in the back area.

Please, please, please stop using Sesame Seed buns for your BBQ sandwiches. Completely ruins it for me. Ordered brisket and pulled pork sandwiches and both had Sesame Seed buns. Please at least offer a choice of plain buns. I love your BBQ but this is a deal breaker for me.

Our experience at The Switch on Saturday July 20th was wonderful! We celebrated my husband’s birthday in a room that was beautifully set up for our group. Every menu item we ordered in advance was delicious. Our staff Enjoli and Alex were phenomenal! They were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We all had a great time together and I look forward to visiting The Switch many more times to come.

First time eating here, was recommended by a family friend and IT LIVED UP TO THE HYPE! Highly recommend the pork ribs! The flavor, seasoning and tenderness are UNMATCHED! Also recommend the shells and cheese Gouda and Serrano Brussels sprouts! Stitch sausage is also great! Try the sauces as well!
